'Why do I always do this?' I thought to myself as I pull myself off the ground my nose bloody. This is the tried time just this week. I need to stop speaking before thinking I don't think I can go through this much long. I am the only outcast that will speak up for myself, but I can't just let them call me names and make fun of me. I finished picking up my things that were spread across the hall luckily I can go home and get away from here I never have fit in.
The walk home is peaceful I didn't live far from the school. I unlocked the front door when I see a note from my parents saying they are leaving again and will be back in a month. At least they paid the bills so I didn't have too. I went to the bathroom and cleaned up the rest of the blood, and got in the shower. I got out and went to my room and got on my work uniform I really hated having a job that was so far from my house and having no car. I finished getting read and took my phone off the charge and checked if I had any text and like usual I didn't. I got to work late 'Great! I am for sure going to get fired now' I mumbled. With living so far away from my job I was almost always late especially when my parents left and they did it too often.
"Dakota!!!' I heard my manager yell I quickly turned to see her angry like usual. "Why are you late this time," the tone in her voice was angry like today she was for sure going to fire me. "I got into another argument after school and came home and found out my parents left again leaving no money to eat," I said with a worried toon in my voice. "Dakota you have to stop getting in argument at school," "I know but I can't just sit around and let them call me names And be rude to me because I am different," she looked at me with sad eyes. "Well get to work I don't want to fire you."
I think my manager feels sorry for me, because of my parents were around till I turned 13 then they thought I could take care for myself. They are always gone at festivals and other stuff they like are modern day hippies. They also use to leave me money for food and pay the bills ,but that stopped after I turned 16 and it was legal for me to get a job. They never were the best parents in the world but they are my parents. they are always so worried about me at least that is what they said when they heard the type of music I listened to. it wasn't what they listen to or what everyone else listens to. That is the reason why I am an outcast.

After work one of my coworker drove me home they never let me walk home cause it is always dark when my shift ends. I unlocked the door and was greeted by the familiar darkness and silence. I walked into the kitchen and made me something to eat. After eating my food I cleaned up and headed to my room and got into my pajamas and put my hair up and put my headphones in and put my music on shuffle. Soon after the first song ended I fell asleep.
