Chapter 1~Moms a workaholic by the mile!

Mom why do we always have to move whenever your job says to and I bet your not even paying attention to me because your still working!"

"I'm sorry hon did you say something I was trying to fax some paperwork."

"Exactly what I mean,while your over there in work land I'm over here in the real world trying to unpack our stuff into the new house and watch your little demon you call child! I said sarcastically."

"Okay I'm sorry honey, I'm back to the real world.

"Yeah, but for how long?"

"Come on Riley I know your mad about moving again, but let's try to make a new start and who knows maybe we'll stay here longer than you think, she said with a weird look on her face."

"Umm okay whatever be awkward on me." After unpacking most of our junk mom liked to call her necessities. I tried to rearrange my room to the way I like it. I kept asking myself why was I trying to get it perfect when I would probably be leaving in two weeks,but I got a feeling that mom wasn't telling me everything about this place which gave me hope. And that's all I needed was hope. I decided to lie down and read the book "A Walk To Remember" which by the way is my favorite book.

When I woke up it was 7:00 am. I got ready and straightened my hair and put my converses and my contacts on. Then I walked downstairs.

"Goodmorning honey, I made some bacon and eggs with a slice of toast. So, eat up and then maybe we can go shopping for school clothes and school supplies.

" Sure thing mom! Wait, did you say school supplies mom you know how much I hate shopping for school supplies it gets me all frustrated and then I might get pimples! Do you want your daughter to go to school with pimples?" Okay so maybe I really didn't care if I got pimples or not but it was the only excuse I could come up with. Hey, give me a break I had just woke up like what 10 minutes ago.

"Whatever like you really care about pimples. Me, you, and your sister are going supply shopping wether you like it or not. Understand?

"Yeah, yeah whatever, but does that demon child you call Abigail really have to come with us?

"I'm not a DEMON CHILD!!!"

" Yeah well you would've fooled me shorty,I said with a smirk."

After going school shopping which by the way was very frustrating like I said. I decided to calm my nerves and find a book shop with coffee and maybe read a little. I ended up finding this place called Cute Reads which was actually really cute if I do say so myself. I was I the zone to this really good book when I heard this really loud laughter about two rows of books behind me. I had decided to read in between books isles because I figured it would be quiet but I guess I was wrong. The laughter just wouldn't stop and when it did I heard a girl whisper "Joshua stop laughing your gonna get us kicked out." " I'm sorry but, I think it's funny how when you were little you thought photosynthesis was takin pictures." that's it I had had enough I was gonna walk up to those people and give them a piece of my mind. It wasn't so hard to find them because all I had to do was follow the loud laughter. I was walking straight up to them with my game face on ready to rip somebody's head off for interrupting my reading. Okay so maybe I wasn't that mad but what can I say I love reading and they were just getting on my last nerves.

"Do You guys mind some people are actually trying to read! I said."

" I'm really sorry I tried to tell Joshua to be quiet but he just wouldn't stop. I'm Lilly by the way and this as you already know is Joshua."

"Listen I'm sorry for being so rude but I've had a rough day and I just thought I would calm my nerves by reading. Umm... is your friend Joshua okay because he just keeps staring at me."

"Joshua? Joshua earth to Joshua! stop staring at. I'm sorry what's your name?

"Riley."

"Riley,stop staring at Riley like that you look like a weirdo."

"Sorry it's just that your r-really p-pretty. Umm I mean. Hi I'm Joshua!"

"Haha hi Joshua I'm Riley and thanks that's really sweet of you, I said with a sweet smile."

"So, Riley are you just visiting or did you just move here?"

"Yeah I just moved here. I live at 1304 Eastbend drive."

"That's cool and I'm guessing your going to Crestwood Highschool because that's were we go."

" Umm yeah I'm going there too! that's pretty cool I guess I'll have some friends already there!Listen I'm really sorry to leave all of a sudden but my mom's probably gonna start worrying about me so I should go."

"Yeah of course! we'll see you at school soon. Bye!"

"Bye!"

"B-bye R-Riley!"

"Haha bye Joshua!"
