If anyone were to describe Bae "Irene" Joohyun, the first thing that would come to mind would probably be beauty and grace, and not young beautiful gang leader, but you know, life is unexpected like that.
Bae was known as the leader of the D'Angeli Gang, they owned the South side and West side of Velvet city.
Her gang was very powerful and very intimidating. The main group consisted of: Bae herself as the leader, Kim "Baby face" Taeyeon as the second in command, Kang "Bear" Seulgi, the hitman, Park "Joy" Sooyoung, who mainly was the negotiator on deals and Kim Yerim, better known as "Yeri", the youngest amongst them.
While the main group was the five of them, the Gang of course had much more members, which Irene viewed as disposable if necessary, of course, she'd rather not have to deal with anyone's death on her hands. As much as she loved to deny it, she had emotions end even if she tried to disconnect from the lesser gang members, whenever she lost one (which was rare) she'd feel a horrible weight on her chest for months, it did hurt, after all she's human.
Velvet City respected the Gang, they didn't mess with anyone unless provoked, they weren't the type to terrorize just because, and Irene had one simple rule, civilians and innocent people will always be spared, especially kids, women and elders. The police also partially respected them, never in the history of D'Angeli, since Irene had taken over, had anyone deemed "innocent" been killed, which was something impressive considering the fact of who they were.
No one dared to mess with her territory, they knew everyone who tried had failed miserably, that is until a certain dark red-headed girl decided to play with Bae's patience.
