Nighmares to live with

Okay so a little note, this is my first book like ever but now that summer has started I have literally nothing better to do so this should keep me occupied. This is based on a nightmare I had but some stuff was added and taken away just to make it sort of readable. If you notice mistakes im sorry pease critique me all you want  I enjoy it :).

  "mommy where are you going?" I asked in panic

"I'm going to go and fix the car , don't open the door to anyone okay baby?"

"Okay momma!" I yelled as I ran to the couch and landed face first into the cushions. The cushions seemed to start falling and I realized that the house was descending through what seemed like a sinkhole.

I fell onto cold hard cement staring up at a roller coaster. I noticed that it was our town's amusement park. Whats going on??? I thought. Everything's empty. No one in the parking lot, at the ticket booths, even the freeway just to the side was empty. "THERE SHE IS !" I heard someone yell from the booths. Soon enough angry looking people started running at me and in no time I was toppled by strange people. As I opened my mouth to yell, no sound came out.

 I woke up screaming. What the hell?! When will  these fricking dreams end? I have been having these same based dreams ever since my mom disappeared, or as everyone said, Ran. I know it sounds surreal but every night, the same dream comes back to me. The clock just above my head ( yes on the ceiling) read 4 am. well guess who's not going back to sleep! I thought. Might as well get ready for work.

Through the past four years my only transportation has been my bycicle. Having a job at the local grocery store doesnt give you much money to spend but I have a roof over my head and clothes on my back. As I pedaled up to the back of the store, Gavin came to say good morning as he always did. He looked at me with an almost sad face, his eyes were red as if he hasnt slept all night. "Morning Gavin I wish you would learn what sleep is" He took my bike and locked it up without a word. Gavin has always been a bit quiet so I just brushed it off.

As we entered the store, he took my hand and took me inside the cleaning closet. "Sandra last night I got a call from a blocked number, they mentioned your mothers debt." Gavin practically grew up with me so he knew the situation with my mother leaving me. The people supposedy after my mother for her debt have been calling  him ever since he got a phone. They were smart because they knew the police have been monitering my calls. So the assholes have been calling him and threatening both of us. "Pumpkin snap out of it they said that if we dont find her and bring her to them we will be the ones to pay". "Gavin I really do not care anymore, If they decide to rob me I have no money. If they try to murder me i'm worthless anyway." He hugged me so tight I practically stopped breathing, " Sandra don't you ever say that you arent worthless you know how much you mean to me."

I opened the door and waked out with Gavin right behind.

When my mother left of course I expected her to come back, every time she would leave for a dumb reason she would always return. But that one night she decided she didnt need me I guess. The police told me she was in the drug industry, and quite a big one. She sold various narcotics such as cocaine and heroin for her wonderful drug lord uncle (who did get caught). She was smart and didnt spend her money on a house or cars so we lived in an apartment and owned a toyota. The money that she earned is supposedly stashed and to this day the police cannot find find it , or her, and thats what these people who call Gavin want. Mostly they want the money but to have a wise drug dealer wouldnt hurt them.
