"Good evening, gentlemen!" The enthusiastic host said. "Tonight, we'll experience our monthly exclusive event here in Paradise! Our Auction Event!" The audience clapped in hype.

The audience of the event was required to wear masquerade mask and formal wear. They were sitting down on theater seat and filled with anticipation who are the Paradise's new courtesan for them to bid.

"Let's stop beating around the bush! Introducing our first lady and new comer, Kim Jiyeon!" The spotlight appeared on the host's side. It displayed a beautiful woman who looks like a modern snow white who's simply dressed in white one piece dress. "She's a beauty, isn't she? She looks like an innocent girl and a lost sheep who needs a shepherd! She's also a virgin, so the starting bid would be $20,000. You rarely encounter this kind of girl in our event! The bid starts now!"

The audience went wild after they saw how Jiyeon is cute, innocent, and most of all virgin. They definitely wanted to get the woman.

"$55,000!" Someone already raised an auction placard and offered bid.

"$70,000!" Another offered bid and raised an auction placard.

"$70,000? Any higher than that? Can we reach hundreds?" The enthusiastic host asked.

"$100,000!" Someone offered one hundred thousand.

"Ohh! We finally reached hundreds! Any higher than $100,000?" The enthusiastic host asked.

"$110,000!"

"$170,000!"

"These offers are weak. $300,000."

"$300,000?! This is getting interesting! We reached three hundred thousand! Higher than $300,000?"

The audience kept silent, as they couldn't offer any more than three hundred thousand. The defeated bidders thought that it's a shame that a woman like Jiyeon would fall to the $300,000 bidder.

"Anyone?"The enthusiastic host asked once again. "$300,000 is-"

"$2,000,000."

The audience were shocked when someone offered two million. They all looked above who just offered two million. They couldn't recognize who was the man since the audience was required to wear masquerade mask to hide their identity and it's quite dark in the theater seat. They could see his eyes, shape of his face, nose, and mouth; they could tell that the man has charisma.

The $300,000 bidder clicked his tongue in irritation as he thought that the beautiful modern snow white would be his for tonight. He couldn't offer more than two million.

"A-Any higher than $2,000,000 perhaps?" Even the enthusiastic host was shocked. Since it's the first time someone offered million value in their auction event.

The audience fell silent. Since no one wanted to offer anymore, the host decided to wrap things up for the first courtesan.

"Okay! $2,000,000 it is! Kim Jiyeon is officially sold by $2,000,000 bid!" The enthusiastic host said.

The $2,000,000 bidder was ushered to a private room. There, he waited for the courtesan-whom he highly bid-to arrive.

He didn't expect that things would turn out like this. People who wanted to invest in his company would always gift or offer Paradise's business card to make him agree with their offered investment, but of course he would politely decline the investment offer. As he knew, this kind of business is illegal in their country, and he wondered if the owner of Paradise had a help from a corrupted politician to continue hiding inside the country's shadows.
