BE DARING TO ASK WHY

The story starts with 4 children entering a forest,
the four children being Ira, Superbia, Otiosum and Cupiditas. They meet a robust looking male with an amazing aura. Ira asks the man,
" Who are you?"
"You do know the answer, you just have to realize it. I'm here to take you on a journey."
says the man.
"What kind?" - Superbia
The man grins and replies " The amazing kind"
The robust male hands each of them a beautiful and mesmerizing flowers each to the children.
He says " These are yours."
Otiosum asks, " What do these mean?"
"These flowers are love" replies the man.
"They all look different." - Ira
"Mine looks dark" - Superbia
"Mine looks really bright"- Cupiditas
"Mine's big"- Otiosum
"Mine looks weak and fragile." Ira
The man thinks and asks if they still wanted the flowers.
The children answer yes.
The man asks why they still wanted them.
The children all answer because," They're mine."
"Good" says the man as he snatches all the flowers.
And as the children become sad the man hands them each a bag filled with heavy items and makes them carry them.
The children try to lift their bags and they barely carry it.
As everyone cries and is in pain due to carrying the bags, Ira furiously asks, " What are in these?"

The man chuckles and responds " Aah in those tiny bags there's depression, anxiety, insomnia, and your insecurities."
"How do you know what our insecurities are?" asks Superbia
"Well guess who I am?"-the man
"God?" - Ira
"Fate?"- Superbia
"The Devil?- Otiosum
"Destiny?"- Cupiditas
The man laughed out loud and replied" You children think too much. I am YOU."
The children are stunned.
"I am the one who gives you all these hardships yet some comfort. You can't have it all."
Cupiditas asks if they could have only the flowers and not the bags.
The man denies it.
All the children ask why.
The man gets stunned as he himself hasn't wondered why..
Yet he replies " That's just how it is."
