It's been two weeks since that fateful morning where I woke up in an idol's bed.
In a completely innocent sense of course.
The past two weeks have been fairly uneventful and unchanging. According to the manager, the gang that attacked the airport were notorious for assaulting idols, and subunits from the gang were positioned on the front steps of both the BigHit building and BTS's dorm, unmovable by the police who were being held at gunpoint if they even dared to try and move them.
To make a long story short, we were stuck at a stalemate. There was nothing to do until the situation blew over and was forgotten by the world.
But unfortunately, our quiet return didn't seem like it would happen anytime soon.
In the meantime, we had finally been able to get out of the musty hotel and move to a cozy and spacious cabin near the mountains. There, the rest of BTS had met us and introduced themselves to Sana and I.
First was Jin, who'd taken the initiative to go first (as the oldest should do) and blown a kiss to me and Sana.
Then Hoseok, who'd smiled cheerfully and bowed a full 90 degree bow, earning giggles from my best friend and I.
Next was Taehyung, who had boldly kissed the back of my hand, rendering me a stuttering and blushing mess.
And last but not least, a shy Jimin stepped out from behind Taehyung and offered my best friend and I a small wave and an eye smile. I'd had to stifle back a laugh when I looked at Sana's face, which was a color only comparable to a ripe tomato. But I wasn't surprised in the least. Jimin was her bias after all.
It only took a couple hours for all of the initial awkwardness to disappear and be replaced with a lighthearted and joking atmosphere. When the members weren't working on music and idol stuff, they were playing board games, eating, or just joking around with each other. It was all too relaxing to watch all 7 of them enjoy their temporary break from hard work with each other.
Well, maybe not all seven. There was one member in particular that would always make my gaze turn downcast and my heart thump louder against my rib cage.
Jungkook.
Over the past two weeks, the tension between us kept bubbling higher and higher, and was threatening to spill over. Every subtle touch of our hands or brushing of our shoulders made a spark of electricity run down my spine and a blush crawl on my cheeks. I had tried to avoid him but eventually gave up after just two days. The man was literally everywhere.
And it's hard to go unnoticed out of a room when you have crutches-that the staff had generously purchased for me, along with clothes for Sana and I- and are constantly losing your balance.
I already knew for a fact that neither of us wanted to discuss that morning in the hotel where we'd almost kissed, so I shoved all of the memories of that day into the back of my brain that held useless and irrelevant pieces of knowledge. Like 7th grade math class and that summer physics camp my mom made me go to.
Even so, whenever I would accidentally remember what happened, the memories never failed to bring unwanted heat to my cheeks and an involuntary smile to my lips.

The azure skies seen from the balcony were starting to fade into deeper shades of navy, with the beginnings of stars starting to poke through the dark hues of nightfall.
I inhaled sharply when I stepped out onto the balcony and into the cool winter air. Goosebumps immediately prickled up on my skin from the temperature. I carefully maneuvered my crutches around the small patches of ice on the deck until I reached the hot tub on the very corner of the oak balcony. Shrugging my towel off my shoulders, I gingerly placed my toes into the water to test the heat before sliding the rest of my body into the warm water. After the original burning sensation faded from my skin, I allowed my muscles and mind to loosen and enjoy the feeling of the water soothing my broken leg and ankle. My eyes automatically closed from the feeling as I sighed and relaxed back into the water.
