Jamison's P.O.V

"Come on, come on, come on! You're missing the best part. Wake up you... you... you lazy person!" My eyes snapped open at that statement. I turned my head to look a brown haired blue eyed girl. She was giggling and playing with my leg hair.

"Did you just insult me? Huh, huh... Did you really call me a lazy person? I never thought I'd live to see that day that my best friend Paisley Daffodil Stevens insulted me!" I pretended to be insulted and rolled onto my stomach and began to fake cry.

I'm gonna miss this.

"Oh my! Look at that hunk of handsomeness crying!" Paisley's voice was teasing and light. I smiled and lifted my head to wink at her. I smiled even bigger when I saw her blush. "Why did you insult me you little gremlin?" I asked her looking her in the eyes.

Her face twisted up into mock anger. "Did you really call me a gremlin?" Her voice held surprise.

"No, no I called you a little gremlin" I told her. I poked her in the ribs, and she squealed in response. I continued to poke her all over and by the time I was done we were both sweaty and red.
Minutes later her Paisley's older brother, Travis entered. He saw us, sweaty and red, and glared at me. He never liked me. Travis always thought that I was only friends with Paisley because I wanted to sleep with her.

"Hey Travis " Paisley greeted him as he came inside. He smiled at Paisley and walked over to her. He lent down and kissed her forehead.
"Hey hun, how you doing?" Travis asked Paisley. They talked for a few minutes quietly as I walked into their kitchen. The clock on the microwave read, 1:39pm. I had to be on a plane in less than two hours. I need to tell paisley that I was leaving, but I couldn't. I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and went back into the living room. Travis had gone upstairs and Paisley was sitting up on the couch watching the movie.
"Are you gonna sit and watch the movie with me?" Paisley asked me once she looked back and saw me in the door way of the living room. I shook my head and walked over to the TV, turning it off.
"Hey! What are you going, I was watching that!" She protested. I turned to her and looked her in the eyes.
"I'm leaving Paisley." I told her
"Okay? Bye. I'll probably see you tomorrow?" Paisley's voice was slightly confused as she spoke.
"No Paisley. I'm leaving. As in, I'm moving away." My voice shook a little bit. As I watch my best friend I saw a roller coast of emotions go over her face. First confusion, than surprise, than anger and sadness and finally realization. She looked up at me. "Haha funny joke." Her voice was teasing but underneath it was fear.
