" The Deal"- A Ban x King Oneshot.

The Deal

It was a quiet morning in the Boarhat except for the sounds of snoring. Yep, The Seven Deadly Sins and a few holy knights such as Gilthunder and Howzer had spent the night drinking it away- So now most of them were passed out drunk.

The Captain of The Seven Deadly Sins, Meliodas, was fast asleep at a table, his cheek resting against the cool wood as he drooled happily at his dreams. Gilthunder and Howzer were also passed out at a table though they were not sleeping as sloppily as The Captain was. The Fox Sin Of Greed was snoozing away on a stool with his head leaning on the bar of the tavern. The Fairy King was mumbling to himself while he slept on his chastiefol (in pillow form) on the floor.

Diane had partaken in the drinking but had woken up a while ago and went for a walk. It was evident Gowther and Merling were off doing their own thing.

Ban awoke from his almost comatose state and looked around the tavern as he yawned. ' What a mess,' was the first thought to come to mind. He rubbed his eyes and stood up. His gaze landed on a large green pillow which King was sleeping upon.

A sly grin spread across Ban's face as he devised how he would wake the sleeping sin. ' Should I hold his nose so he can't breathe or tug his hair? Oooooorrrr maybe I could pretend I am Diane and wake him that way. Ah, so many-"

" Mm...Ban."

Ban froze as his thoughts were interrupted. He stared at King trying to process why he had just said his name in such a manner. ' Is he dreaming about me?' The Fox Sin shuddered. Now that would just be weird. King doesn't like him after all. He only tolerates him because Elaine asked him to.

Ban furrowed his brows out of confusion and decided to wake The Fairy King by nudging him with his foot. " Oi King, wake up." King awoke though he was not pleased.
" Nnn...Ban, why can't you leave me alone?" He questioned and then gave a big huff.
" You were in my way." Ban simply stated. King gave a tiny huff and started to float. His chastiefol followed his lead as he passed Ban and began to go upstairs.

Ban narrowed his eyes slightly. He had expected a better reaction than the one he had received. He decided to follow the other sin upstairs. " Hey King, what were you dreaming about?" King rose a brow at the question.
" Huh? Why do you want to know?"
" It seemed like you were having a good dream," Ban gave a small smirk.
" I probably was but you disturbed me." King floated into the second bedroom of the tavern and himself comfortable on a bed. His green pillow settled down beside him as he cuddled into it.

His eyes became heavy with sleep again. Oh, how he wanted to sleep for a little while longer but unfortunately there was the fact Ban was going to be an annoyance.
" What do you mean ' you probably were'?" Ban inquired. King sighed softly, closing his eyes.
" I never remember what I dream about. So I can't tell you the dream I was having."
" That's bullshit!" Ban shook his head. He was certain that King was covering up what he actually was dreaming about.

" Eh..." The Grizzly Sin lazily shrugged his shoulders. " Can I sleep now?" King buried his face in his pillow, nuzzling it slightly. An idea suddenly popped into Ban's mind causing his smirk to widen.
" You know you talk in your sleep right?"
" Mhm..." King yawned again, on the verge of falling asleep despite Ban's presence.

" You moaned my name~" The Fairy's eyes shot open as he sat straight up and made eye contact with The Fox Sin. As if they were a blank canvas, a light shade of red painted King's cheeks in embarrassment as he tried to form words. " Wh-what?!"

Now, that was the reaction Ban had been desiring. It wasn't entirely a lie that the Sloth Sin had said his name in his sleep but it amused him to make up some exaggerated version of the truth and humiliate King. " Oh yeah, you moaned my name. I don't know what you were dreaming about but the way you said my name must mean you were enjoying having me there~" That sly smirk had grown and molded itself into a grin at the sight before Ban.
