It's the blessed month of ramadan
And so I have one thing to say
Why are we still sinning
When the devil is locked away?
We were told to fast, stay pious and clean
Yet we still strive to tarnish our deen
We can sin all day and commit any crime
But when our Lord calls to worship
We still don't have the time!
We still continue to cheat lie and decieve
Can we no longer for ourselves perceive?
Now that the devil's locked up who is to blame
Has our soul lost all sense of shame?
We sleep through the day like no harm is done
And wake up just as down sets the sun
We now neither pray nor do repent
And sadly that's how our Ramadan is spent
