It's been long I have been here.. it all looks so different that I couldn't recognize it anymore..
All the years growing g up here playing g in the ground with long green grass.. the hide and seeks , the house made of dupattas, sneaking water to build temples and utensils..
It all seems like yesterday..
The big tamarind tree which we believed to be the home of ghosts, the first park we ever had in our campus, the innocence with which we all kids used to play without any hi t of status and class...
Those are the days where our imagination s has no limits.. play dough was never a thing.. making different utensils with mud was and to make it u breakable how we used to burn them in the little wood we collected which we learned from surrounding do g Potter's..
I miss those days.. where we used to run for the sweet rasna in summers at the bus stand.. where we went to a reception we weren't invited and held the 'who drinks more' competition..
Counting to 100 behind d a tree closing g eyes and trying g to find the thieves., Hopping on the trees to reach the destination like monkeys and trying not to get caught when we run from tree to tree...
The only worry we had was getting g our report cards signed and the parent-teacher meetings ... The more I think of the childhood the more I realize how things changed so drastically these days..
The adventures we did, discovering g a way to the railway station and the friendly aunt who gave us coconuts and groundnuts and the fields we explored..
I will I could be born again and cherish all those memories again not I. The era where everything is run by technology but in the time where we got excited to the fake tattoo that came with the bubblegum, that ti.e when new year was celebrated by exchanging greeting cards, when our best friend got 2 chocolates on our birthday and remaining got just one..
I wish I could go in to that time
