It was a whole mess.

"My brother is finally getting laid!" Taehyung announced excitedly and Yoongi could do nothing but sigh.

"Tae, this is not about that. I'm just asking Jimin out. I-"

"But it will happen right after."

"Not really. I already told you that I only want to enjoy my time with Jimin on our first official date. I don't want it to be about sex or whatever."

Yoongi was about to elaborate more on what he's trying to tell Tae but Jin interrupted him. "There is no point talking about dates right now if we haven't even started planning on it yet!"

The older boy had a point, so Yoongi chose to ignore Taehyung's suggestive smiles and focused on the task at hand. He needed to finish preparing everything by this week so that they could lay out the plan as soon as possible. Yoongi didn't want to wait, especially now that Hobi had finally knocked some sense to his brain.

He wanted Jimin, and he'll get him. If those stars bullshit thing was really true, then everything should go well.

"We should take advantage of the movie night later. We can make Jimin drunk and ask him how he would prefer a romantic date to go," Namjoon suggested. Yoongi thought that was a good idea.

Taehyung opened his mouth to speak. "Or I can just ask him."

"No!" they all shouted as Taehyung tilted his head in confusion. He pouted and Yoongi wanted to snort at his cute little brother.

"You can't ask Jimin, or even Jungkook. Especially Jungkook. Please don't mention anything to Jungkook about this," Yoongi said, making the younger boy pout even more.

Namjoon nodded his head in agreement. "Although you have exceptional acting skills, you can't hide a damn secret, Tae. Just don't mention anything to the two."

The boy finally agreed, but not without Jin bribing to cook mashed potatoes for him for a whole week. They continued to think of a good plan, starting off with the perfect date and time. They had come up with various ideas for the venue but decided to finalize it once they were able to ask a drunk Jimin.

"He likes blue," Yoongi mentioned. "Maybe we can put blue balloons. Or we can also set up the date in a place where blue is the theme."

"How about by the sea? That's already blue," Taehyung suggested.

Oh.

His brother was indeed a genius just like him.

"Should there be music?" came Namjoon's question.

Yoongi wanted to put a little background music, but he was not sure if it would be too cheesy. He was even thinking of composing a song, but the again, maybe it would be too cheesy. The last thing he wanted was for Jimin to spend the whole night cringing to the point of wanting to vomit.

His thoughts were thrown into waste when Taehyung spoke up in response to Namjoon's question. "Jiminie will like it. I'm sure!"

Skeptical, Yoongi raised his eyebrows at his excited brother. "How would you know?"

And of course Taehyung knew. He and Jimin had been stuck to the hip ever since they met, to the point wherein Jungkook would complain he was not being loved enough by Taehyung. He still wanted to ask, though. Yoongi was too nervous to easily believe in anything right now.

"I am Jiminie's lost twin! How could you possibly question my wisdom?!" Taehyung responded, clearly indignant. "He's hopeless romantic. We would watch movies and he would always gush about how sweet this and that was. He'll love the seaside kind of date, with music and any other cliche. But of course, you wouldn't listen. You don't love me enough, hyung."
