That's Clove's outfit above.

"Okay, okay! Shut up!" I yelled at my alarm on my nightstand. I groaned and looked at the time.

4:00 am

Why did I put it so early?

I groaned and walked to my bathroom to brush my teeth and take a shower. "Okay... Workout in a few minutes...hmmm...I probably stop for some breakfast at the cafeteria after and...what am I missing?" I thought aloud. Something wasn't right. I feel like I'm forgetting something really important.

I heard a knock on my door and walked over to open it. "Clove. You have to get ready. We're leaving for the jet in thirty minutes! I have some clothes that I'm pretty sure teenage girls wear nowadays." She handed me a stripped crop top and mid-thigh shorts. I looked back up at her with a confused smile, "Also, what are you talking abo--" My eyes widened.

Fuck.

"I'll be right back. I have to go put these on." I shut the door and took off my clothes quickly. Wait. I tilted my head as I held up the top to examine it. Is she literally gonna let me wear this? Do teenage girls really dress like this? I got cut off from my thoughts by my mother telling me to hurry up and that she might as well get pregnant outside my door 'cause I'm taking so long. I rolled my eyes at her and put on the outfit.

I opened the door and my mom dragged me out of the corridor. "Wait. Mom I need to pack, right?" It finally dawned on me that the only thing I brought was my hair tie. "Sally bought some clothes for you. When you arrive to LA there will be clothes for you. But stick with this outfit for the first day of your mission. You need to look presentable."

"Miss Blackwood. We're landing in a few minutes." Said the flight attendant. I nodded. My mother left once I boarded the jet so it's basically just me, the pilot, and the attendant.

After a few minutes I got that weird feeling in my stomach that's telling me that we're landing right now.

Gosh, I love but hate that feeling.

I got off the plane and entered the airport building. I searched for any people who at least looked like they knew who I was until my eyes landed on a guy around my age on his phone with one hand and holding up a sign that said "Clove Grey" in the other. I guess they already changed my name from Blackwood to Grey. I walked over to him but he didn't look up from his phone. I cleared my throat but he still didn't pay any attention until he said: "Who are you and why are you staring at me?"

Who does this guy think he is?

"Okay, look. That's very rude and I don't think you should be talking to me like that..." I paused for dramatic effect. "Step-brother."

"Ew. Stop. Let's go." He put his phone in his back pocket and walked away. I followed him before I lost him and we ended up in front of a black motorbike. He grabbed a helmet and tossed it to me. I caught it and put it on. He sat down and turned the engine on. Looking up on me he asked, "Well?" I nodded and sat on the seat and wrapping my arms around his torso.

"Not too hard." He jokingly whined. I snickered, "That's what she sai--"

"Don't even start." He said. I rolled my eyes and mumbled a 'I do what I want. I'm punk rock' And he drove us off explaining how and which direction to turn my body in so that we don't fall when we take a turn.

After a few minutes of driving I got bored so I rested my head on his back and closed my eyes. "Don't even think about falling asleep. I hate being the person to wake someone up from a nap."  He paused, "Also, who falls asleep on a moving motorbike?"

I shrugged, not really wanting to speak.

We stopped at a two story house with a tree in front of it and a garden. It looked pretty big but then again, all three of them are agents and this is probably Andrew's first kinda case. We got off of the bike and walked into the front yard. Before opening the door he turned to me, "Don't get on their nerves. They work too hard for that."

I nodded and he fished something from his pocket that looked like a key. He turned back to the door and opened it. "Mom, Dad! Clove's here!" He yelled. I guess they use outside voices here. My kind of people.

"Clove, honey. There you are!" Sally pulled me into a hug and the pulled away and looked at me up and down, "My, my. Your mother really did work you hard." She looked behind me and to Andrew, "Don't give her a hard time." Then turning back to me and offering a cup of tea. I heard a chuckle behind me and I just knew that it was from Andrew. "Sally, love. They have to get going to school in half an hour." Said a man behind her who I'm guessing is Jonathon. He wrapped an arm around her waist and rested his head on her shoulder.

Andrew led me upstairs to what I suppose is my room. "Thanks." I said when he showed my room. He just nodded, "Wait a second. Stay there." He walked off to another room which I'm guessing is his. He came back with a necklace that looked like a key pendant. He handed it to me and I examined it, there was a slit in the side and I pulled it out revealing a knife. I looked back at him but he just had a bored expression on his face, "My dad told me to give it to you since he heard you like knives or whatever. And you need a weapon on you at all times now." He said as he shrugged.

"Also," He walked away to his room and came back with a black backpack and tossed it to me

"Also," He walked away to his room and came back with a black backpack and tossed it to me. I caught it. It had a few notebooks in it and a pack of lead pencils. "That's for school by the way. We're leaving in twenty minutes so go get something to eat and contact whoever you need to contact with this," He pulled out a rose gold phone from his pocket and handed it to me, "It's a gift from my parents as well. You'll need it to at least fit in with us." Then he walked away.

I looked down at the phone and slipped it in the back pocket of my shorts and put on my necklace and tucked it in the shirt. I looked at myself in the mirror before nodding. I decided to put on some makeup that I found on the nightstand next to my bed after watching a quick makeup tutorial from James Charles.

I grabbed my backpack and went downstairs only to find Andrew on his phone again. "What are you playing?" I asked. Without looking up he replied, "Candy crush. I'm stuck on level 65." He said with frustration laced into his words. He groaned and put his phone down and faced me. "Ready to go?" He asked as me grabbed his identical black backpack but his had 'Rcklss' printed on the front. I nodded and we went outside to his motorcycle.

First day of actual school after four years, here I come.
