I walked up to Buffy's house, I knocked on the door. The Scoobies were all meeting up at Buffy's house, the door opened and there stood Buffy. I smiled "Hey Sam!" "Hey Buffy!" "Come in" I nodded and walked in. I knew I would see Spike, the vampire everyone hated except for me. I turned to Buffy "Is anybody else here besides us?" "I am" I looked over to see Spike walking towards me. I smiled "Spike, and Willow is on her way and so is Giles..." I nodded and noticed Spike was looking at me the whole time "Cool, cool..." I also noticed Spike was being very close to me. I looked over at him and he scratched the back of his neck "Spike stop being so clingy to Sam!" Buffy scolded "Its fine..." I told her. Spike's eyes widened and he looked at me, Buffy was a bit shocked "Well, you guys can do whatever you want... just don't mess with anything... Especially you Spike!" she said.

We walked to the living room, Spike threw himself onto the sofa "Spike! I was gonna sit there!" Spike looked up at me "Oh..." he moved. I blushed at his generosity "Thanks" Spike nodded "So... hows it going?" he asked me smiling and moving closer to me but not to close. I smiled back at him "Good, just normal... as usual..." "You still single?" "Yeah..." "You seem upset.." Spike said looking at me "I don't like being lonely all the time..." I said shyly. Spike smirked "Well... I'm single to..." "Are you upset about it?" "Not really... I like somebody tho..." "Really?" "Yeah... I don't know if they like me though..." my heart sank but I hid it "Who is it?" "I... I don't really wanna say... It'd be to obvious.." "Oh my God... is it Buffy?" "No! No!" I nodded and my cheeks burnt as I blushed. 

The doorbell rang and Buffy ran to answer it, we heard voices. Xander and Willow walked in "Hey guys!" "Hey!" Spike stretched his legs and took up the rest of the couch "Spike! I wanted to sit there!" "Piss off, this is my spot!" I looked over at Spike realizing he let me sit in 'his spot' my eyes darted to Xander he rolled his eyes and sat somewhere else. Spike looked at me with a smirk on his face, I didn't know what to do. I put my hand on his leg that made Spike's eyes open wide, he looked at me "So guys heres some snacks" Buffy said setting them on the table. I smiled "Thanks Buffy!" I moved my hand and grabbed some chips. Spike looked at me again, he licked his lips and watched as I ate the chips. Spike moved his legs and sat closer to me, Willow and Xander were talking "Why won't you tell me?" I asked him.

Spike looked at me and sighed "I'll tell you when I think I can.. just not now, love..." I nodded. Spike grabbed some snacks "So lets talk about something else..." "Like?" he asked looking at me "I don't know... like when you met me?" "What about it?" he asked "What did you think of me?" Spike sat up "Heh.. nice question... I thought you were the most beautiful and sexy girl I ever met... still do" I blushed "R-Really?" Spike chuckled "Yeah!" I smiled and leaned over kissing his cheek. Spike smiled at me "Thanks, pet" he grabbed more snacks, he moved over closer to me. I looked over at Willow, she smiled at us and started talking to Xander again. The doorbell rang again and Buffy opened the door, Giles walked in after greeting Buffy "Hello all" he said smiling "Hey Giles" "Oh snacks" he said sitting next to Spike.

Spike was turned to me still, I looked at him with a smile "What else can we talk about?" Spike asked me. I shrugged "How's your crypt?" "Nice.. still comfy" he said smiling. I smiled back at him "I've never been in it.." "Well you should be" he said smirking. I giggled and looked at him, I looked at his face and hair. Spike was adorable and nice, but being flirty which I didn't mind. I smiled soon realizing I was daydreaming, Spike got me out of it "Sam?" I shook my head "S-Sorry" "What's wrong?" "Nothing.. why?" Spike shrugged "You just daydreamed like you did..." I nodded and ate more snacks.

*Time skip to the end of tons of flirting, talking, and hanging out*

Buffy smiled at us all "Its getting late guys" we all nodded standing up "Yeah..." we all said our goodbyes and I started walking home. I barely got out of Buffy's house when Spike called my name "Want me to walk you home, love?" "Sure" I said smiling. We walked in the direction of my house "Seriously why won't you tell me who you like?" "I don't want you to know yet! Besides you probably know..." he said scratching the back of his neck again. I giggled "I'll wait until you tell me... Your sweet though" Spike chuckled "Thanks" he said softly "Why does everybody hate you?" "I don't know... What do you mean by that though?" he asked furrowing his eyebrows and looking at me "The Scoobies... They don't like you..." "You don't like me?" "No! I love you Spike!" Spike's eyes widened and he looked at me with a smirk "Mmmm" I scoffed.

I pushed him playfully "Think what you want!" "I already am..." he said chuckling. I giggled and looked at him "Seriously Spike..." he stopped chuckling and looked back at me "Yeah?" "How could they hate you?" "I treat them differently.." "Oh..." "Theres nothing wrong with it..." "Your so loveable and nice and cute..." "You think I'm cute?" "Yeah.." "She thinks I'm cute!" Spike yelled and we giggled again. I smiled and looked up at my house "Here we are.." "I'll see you later" I smiled and nodded. I kissed him softly and went up the steps of my house and I got ready for bed, I turned off the light and laid down thinking of Spike.
