"Hey Graham." Lucas said, dismissively, walking past me.
I don't think he even looked in my direction. Jesus, ever since he met Aria in person he's practically been floating three feet off the ground. He literally doesn't pay any attention to the world around him. Hell, if I turned this gun on him, he wouldn't even notice. I returned my focus to the target in front of me, missing three times in a row.
"Fuck." I spat, throwing the gun to the ground in exasperation.
I walked towards the porch and opened the back door, stepping inside. I closed the door and immediately began practically choking on the fucking air.
"Jesus Lucas." I said between coughs, swatting at the air. "That's a lot of fucking cologne."
"Shit. Too much?" Lucas said, shoving his hands in his pockets, something he only did when he was buggin about something.
"Yeah. Way too much." I said, walking towards him into the living room.
Lucas turned away from me and put his hands on his hips, taking deep breaths.
I walked closer and asked, "What's your deal, man?"
Lucas looked me dead in the eye, "I'm taking Aria to dinner and I'm literally going to die I'm so nervous."
Suddenly I felt my face become hot. I was fuming mad, but I couldn't let Lucas see that. The rage boiled inside of me, causing me to become physically nauseous.
"Good luck." I spat, turning and walking away.
I walked into the backyard and picked up my gun. I hesitated, looking it over, before aiming for the target. I exhaled before I took the shot. I almost hit the dead center.
When Aria's mine...no one will get in my way.Yooo. Sorry short but verryyy important chapter. I feel awful right now wow.
