"Get down", screamed Banshee, who was hidding behind a car that was no more. I ran with my head ducked over to him whilst changing the magazine in my weapon."Captain, Shadow has been shot. Neon is bringing him back to base as we speak so I guess its just you and me from here on out," I said even though he wasnt paying the utmost attention to what I had just told him.
"Follow my lead, Raven I've got a plan." he said brimming with confidence. He got up and emptied a whole magazine on the Chinese forces who were about to spray us with a minigun. We ran over to a nearby building that was already half destroyed but only just still standing. All though this was his last 'op' Captain still moved as if he was twenty. I wasn't that fond of him leaving because once he left I would become the captain and that wasn't a responsibility I was looking forward too but it was his wish that I would take over command and I wasn't gonna turn him down.
We continued spraying bullets until I threw a grenade over the building. To my suprise the grenade was thrown back and blew up midair and caused the building to fall on top off me and leaving Captain with barely any cover. He took a shot to the chest but I wasn't worried about him because he was wearing a kelvar vest but then he took multiple shots to the legs leaving him unable to move. I tried to lift the rubble of me but by the time I was able to stand up I was surrounded by guns and then 'SMACK' Everything went black. I was just hopping that the captain was okay. A strong muscular man walking in followed by a smaller man smoking a cigarette.
"Cooperate and you and your friend will be just fine," he said, but I didn't trust him.'BANG'. A loud noise came from the door the people entered through. "Check it out," he muttered. The stronger man walked out the door but never came back.
