Title: Storm And Silence (duh)

Author: RobThier

Description:

"It is your choice," he said, stepping so close to me that our lips were almost touching. "Either do what I say - or get another job."
My heart stood still as I gazed up into his deep, dark, dangerous eyes...

In a world where women's only role in life is to sit at home and look pretty, Lilly is determined to fight for her freedom. There's only one problem: a powerful man blocking her way.

My review:

Alright let me say that this review will be quite thorough sinde its literally my favourite book here. I was legit obsessed with it three years ago. But don't worry no spoilers so go ahead to see what you're in for.

And Ik what you might think: "ugh, another possessive boss story, pass."
I thought of that too as well and put it off for many months but when I read it ... BOOM mind blown.

It's set in the Victorian era with it's gorgeous balls, gowns, dreamy gentlemen and sigh the Victorian era is so dreamy right? But there is one thing. Back then women were deprived of their rights. But Lilly our feminist queen doesn't take any of that bullshit.

You will absolutely love this book with Mr. Ambrose's coldness and Lilly's badassness (is that a word?) But it will not appeal to everyone especially if you aren't into historical fiction. Lilly might get annoying at times with the entire "I am a strong female who don't need no man" thing.

But overall, it's an amazing book with an amazing plot, very professional good writing, humour, adventure, unseen plot twists, a strong female lead [which, let's be honest we don't see often on wattpad] and handsome long haired captains (*cries* Carter I love you so much aldjkwjs marry me)

So go ahead and give it a shot if you haven't, Sir Rob is one of the best writers here and you will notice that once you start reading.

(Also tbh book 1 is the best book of the entire series don't @ me.)

So till next review,

Marsy.
