Three weeks had passed and in this particular afternoon, Laura took out her earphones and set them down in Peters hands.
She gestured for him to put them on.
He did.
Silence met his ears as he adjusted the buds and then he realised.
His grey eyes met Laura's blue eyes as she made a gesture with her hands, before twirling her red hair between her thumbs.
Peter smiled and wrote another note.
'You're still beautiful :)'
