"You are shit at giving gifts." I giggled taking another sip of my latte.
"That's not true!" Harry retaliated.
"You got me a goldfish before you left for X Factor and forced me to name it Harry."
"That was thoughtful!"
"Yeah, it was, until Benji got his paws on him." I laughed, speaking of my Golden Retriever.
"Well I think I've definitely improved at gift giving."
"You think gifting your mother an electric toothbrush is improving." I mocked with raised eyebrows.
"It's purple and lights up!" He argued, still smiling widely.
Eventually we managed to control our teasing banter and just chat about the excitement of seeing our family and being back in Holmes Chapel together.
"I haven't been back in 9 months." Harry confessed with one if the widest grins I think I'd even witnessed on him and I beamed in response, marvelling at the sight.
---------------------
"Come on take a photo with me." I gestured for him the sit with me. "It wouldn't be a trip to Costa without a selfie."
"Uh, were should I, er..." Harry stammered assessing where he should park his behind on the small armchair.
Without a second thought I stood up and gestured for him to sit there me immediately plonking myself on his lap.
Harry and I held up our Christmas themed coffee cups and I cosied up to him as much as I felt appropriate and snapped the picture on my phone.
"Do another one." Harry said, putting down his cup as I did the same.
We stayed in the same picture only this time Harry's arms snaked around my waist and just when I was about to snap the picture his full lips pressed against my cheek.
It was too late to tell him not to, the picture already taken. I was about to call him out on it but as I stared down at the picture my train of thought vanished and I realised just how happy I looked. Being with Harry was so easy, I didn't flutter with my words as much and I could just relax and be myself, even when he did make me nervous.
"Right." I stood up awkwardly, not really knowing what the say after that.
"Quick toilet stop?" Harry asked, clearing his throat awkwardly. I nodded in response and quickly lead the way the toilets.
When I came out of the toilet, drying the excess wetness from my washed hands onto my thighs. Harry was already waiting outside, leaning against the wall playing on his phone, looking effortlessly perfect as usual.
--------
Harry and I browsed the aisles of WHSmith, picking up various snacks and confectionary on the way. While Harry plodded ahead with the basket I whipped out my phone staring at the second photo again, biting my lip at the image. I was glowing.
Quickly snapping out of my daze I flicked to the first one, deciding to post it to my instagram. I uploaded quickly before I could change my mind. My instagram was on private and I knew Niall hadn't found it yet so I had no worries, only 137 friends, classmates and family being able to see the photo.
"Which flavour Pringles?" Harry asked pointing to the talk cylinders on the shelf.
"Salt and Vinegar's fine." I smiled, glancing back towards my phone, seeing Lucy had already commented a winky face emoji.
Rolling my eyes I put my phone back in my bag, swapping it for my wallet. Harry was already unloading our goods onto the counter when I approached.
"That will be £13.85 please."
I was just about to hand over a £20 note when Harry quickly swiped his card through the machine.
"Harry!" I whined.
"What?" He smiled cheekily, knowing I hated having things bought for me, especially a boy.
"My treat." He said, grabbing the bag, thanking the cashier and wrapping his free hand around my back, guiding me out of the shop. And back to the car.

Ugh seriously though, I know it's not particularly long or exciting but I did it, I managed to update in under a year.
It was actually so much work for me and again I couldn't possibly say when I'll next update, all I know is at some point I definitely will be.
Anyway I need to thank every single one of you who have stuck with me. I know my story isn't the most well written or popular but if you read this story I love you so much so thanks a billion.
Until next time,
