Second POV:
"What are we doing here?" Iwaizumi asks as he stands there confused as ever.
Later in the week, Tanaka called you and informed you that the test for Iwaizumi would happen today. You didn't know what Tanaka was planning, but it seemed fun, so you just tagged along curious on how things are going to go.
"This my friend is the Arcade! And the thing you are looking at is the ultimate test!"
"A dancing machine?" Iwaizumi was still confused. He doesn't seem like the type to play those kinds of games.
"The Dance Machine is (Y/N)'s ultimate game! No one I know has been able to beat her!" Tanaka stands proudly next to you!
"And now I'm supposed to beat her to 'pass' whatever it is you are trying to do?" Let's just say he would prefer to spend the day with only you, than here with these weirdos.
"HAHA! That's funny! I just said no one could beat her! I've come close, but never! So, you will try your luck with me! Since I'm technically runner up!" He gets on the game and readies the coins to insert them and start the game.
"Is he serious?" Iwaizumi looks at you and somehow begging you to stop all this nonsense.
However, you were having too much fun to stop it! "Oh, yea! He's good! Just not my level yet!"
You nudge him towards Tanaka and the game; he has no choice but to comply to the challenge. After all, if he wins here, he will be able to shut Tanaka up about all this 'our (Y/N)' stuff!
You thought this was going to pass by quick and you will be able to spend the rest of the day with Iwaizumi. Did that happen?
Nope!
Iwaizumi and Tanaka kept playing all day! Tanaka was winning, and Iwaizumi wasn't accepting it. "Losing at a stupid arcade game, that is not going to happen!" Is what he said, which Tanaka responded by "(Y/N)'s game is not stupid! You just suck! Unworthy!"
Once the sun was set, you knew you had to put a stop to this! Just when it finally happened!
"YES! I WON! (Y/N) did you see that!" Iwaizumi turns around and has a massive grin on his face when he finally beat Tanaka in a round!
"Yup! You were awesome! You got the hang of it!" You return the grin, and he comes over to hug you!
"Ha! Who's unworthy now!?" I guess even Iwaizumi has a little childish side to him when it comes to games and challenges.
"Mmm, it was only once. But! I shall accept it!" Tanaka walks up to him and puts his hand on his shoulder! "The fact that you kept playing just to win for (Y/N) shows how serious you are! You better not hurt her!"
"Who can hurt this little thing!" Iwaizumi walks over and pinches both your cheeks!
"Hey! I'm not a thing!" You puff up your cheeks and cross your arms.
Today was a perfect day. You got to see a side of Iwaizumi you wouldn't usually see. He is always serious and calm, but today he was all riled up and ready to fight! Even if it was on a silly dancing machine in the arcade.
Just before the weekend, Iwaizumi texts you a picture of a flyer. It was a festival that was happening nearby. It seemed fun. The pamphlet was all colorful with fireworks on it. It has been a while since you have gone to a festival. So if he asks you it could be fun.
"Want to go check it out together if you don't have plans on the weekends?" You seriously loved it how considerate he is with you about everything!
