Once upon a concert (LiamPayne)

Chapter 6

Maggy's POV

I grabbed the paper on Raines hand and got the pen on my pocket.

You are such a vain guy. hahaha! You dont have to make your picture my wallpaper to annoy me, you already have like an album full of selfies here which is so annoying.

Meet me at 7/11 after this concert.

I raised my phone with Liam's picture and i got his attention and holy wow i just can't stop smiling.

He smiled at me too and I don't want him to think that I like him so i put my phone down and raised my middle finger on him.

He laughed.. on the mike. Really he's fond of showing other people his affection. he's a dimwit.

I threw the paper and he catched it with his mike-free hand and placed the paper on his pocket.

Good, i thought he was going to read it in front of everybody and embarass the hell out of me again.

He gave me a wink and i just gave him a fake smile.

The rest of the show, I was asleep. I slept on my chair and didn't give a care in the world.

"Hey Maggy get up the concert's done"

I heaved a yawn and stretched my arms.

"really? at last because i can't wait to get home and dress up"

She stood just in front of me, smiling.

"what are you smiling for?!"

She wiggled her eyebrows and started to look around.

"What the hell?!"

She laughed and dragged my to the car.

"what's wrong with you?!"

She was excited and smiling all the way home.

"hey ugly. dad's not home so you better behave because i'm incharge to babysit you"

"No. you have a date with Liam tonight at 7/11"

I widened my eyes and remembered. Oh sht.

I changed into my PJ's and huge shirt before leaving the house.

"Heeeeey! i need a babysitter!"

"shut up. you're old"

I ran across the street where the 7/11 is and i saw a rental car parked in front with a damn handsome and hot british guy leaning on iy.

I felt so shy and conscious about what i was wearing.

"Hey!"

He waved at me and smiled.

"You don't have to be nice to me. I wasn't for even a second nice to you so just.."

The passenger door of his car opened and I was shocked to see a blonde guy.

"Hi. I'm Niall and i was asked by my friend Liam here to babysit your sister"

I was confused at first but now got the puzzle pieces together.

So this is why Raine was so excited to get home. While i was asleep, she talked to Liam about this.

That kid is such a shtface.

"oh. good luck with that. that house across is ours. just knock and you'll see what kind of monster you'll babysit"

Niall ran acroos the street and I faced Liam.

"Come on?"

He opened the door to the passenger seat for me.

"uhh. where are we going? look at what i'm wearing i look like a mess."

He gave me a nod and smiled.

"yeah. i like it so come on in"

I hesitated at first but then i stepped inside the car and sighed.

I look like a freaking dirtbag -_-

He drove.and drove for 2 hours and i'm starting to feel hungry and dizzy.

"where the hell are you taking me mister?!"

He smiled and drove.

"I just want to drive and drive until sunrise so we can watch it together"

I looked at him, amused of what he said. What is this? Like he has some sweet bones?

"oh" That was all i could say. The gods must be laughing at me right now because I can't stop blushing.

Liam's POV

Honestly, i don't know where i'm taking her. I don't know this place and really? I don't have an idea where to take her now.

I looked at her who's now fast asleep in the passenger seat and I can't stop staring so i pulled over to the side of the street to stare at the beautiful ragged girl beside me.

I checked my watch and started to drive to the nearest beach that my phone navigation just showed up.

There's a beach 2 kms away so i should drive before sunrise comes ahead of me.

I parked my car on the the space between two trees and climbed out. It's 5:00 in the morning and the sun will show in no time. I sat on the hood of my car and just stared at the skies.

"Hey mister! I really feel so hungry"

I looked at the girl who just woke up and i just can't stop appreciating her with her messy hair and her wrinkled shirt and her long PJ's.

"oh yeah. I have food on the trunk"

I disappeared and went to open my trunk and gather the picnick blanket and basket and placed it on the sand.

She stared at me while I was doing this stuff.

"You know? I must admit this, but you are just so good to be true"

My senses stopped for a while and I just can't stop smiling.

"wh-what?"

She smiled a genuine smile and gave me a nod.

"really. You are just so handsome and you are so sweet and you are so kind and..i don't know but I sure as hell am sure I don't deserve you"

I looked at her shocked of what she said. She just can't say that.

Nobody deserves to think that she doesn't deserve somebody who's willing to give her what she deserves.

"you just cant say that"

She sat down on the blanket and pat the space beside her and asked me to sit.

"Come here. Let's just watch that sunrise already"

I sat beside her and looked at the sky.

"You don't have to put yourself down you know. You are an amazing person and you don't have to deny the fact that you deserve to be liked and you deserve all the sweetness and effort in the world"

She looked at me. Well i was still looking at the aky but my peripheral vision says she's looking at me.

"yah? Well i want you to know that i had a boyfriend once and he was everything to me. but you know what? one day he just woke up and left me because he said i was not worth his time and effort and everything. So look at me now, feeling so sorry for myself"

I looked at her and I saw the sadness in her eyes even when she's trying to put a smile on her face.

"No. you're worthy of a man who knows how to value the true meaning of time and effort."

I was caught off guard when she give me a quick peck on the cheek.

"One day. I know i'll find him"

I held her hand and watched the sky turn orange.

"One day, i'll show you i can be the man you're worthy of. One day"
