*Carrie writing in her journal*
Time. Where does it go? Nathanial Hawthorne once said "time flies over us but leaves it's shadow behind". That couldn't be more true than right now in my life. I think it's more of a 'dark shadow', because my time right now is DARK. But more importantly it was going by too fast. It's been about 2 months since graduation and that scares me. Mostly because I'm still waiting tables and haven't found an actual job. I've found myself having less and less time to write. I've tried, but I just... writers block I guess.

As I'm sitting here in a coffee shop I wonder how it's possible that so many people can fit into a small place. Right now all these people are grabbing a coffee, but where do they go after that?

In the corner of my eye I see a waitress looking strait at me. "Hey are you Carrie Bradshaw!?" She yells across the way.

"Umm yeah that.. that's me" I say as loud as I can.

"Some girl keeps calling and asking for you. Says her name is Samantha" she says rolling her eyes.

"Oh!". Yikes, why does she seem so frustrated?

"Well here!" she looks at me with crazy eyes as I take the phone.

Clearing my throat "Hello? Samantha?"

"CARRIE, yay that annoying girl found you! Okay Carrie I need your help. I'm in a bit of a sticky situation." She says while I hear ruffling through the phone.

"Okay. What kind of sticky situation are you in?"

Rolling my eyes I try to imagine what kind of danger she's in today. For the past week she has needed me tremendously. First it was shoplifting sunglasses, then it was fighting with a teenaged girl for a pair of shoes. Yesterday it was crazily yelling at pigeons in the middle of the park. After the break up with Elliot she went a little crazy.

"Well I'm stuck to a guy" she says sniffing.

"Yes Samantha, I know. I'm sorry you guys broke up. It's hard to get over someone you had strong feelings for, trust me I know. But that doesn't mean you can't forget about it and move on. It's not goi—".

"NO CARRIE! I'm literally stuck to a guy. His naked body is stuck to my naked body".

"Oh. OH. What? How? Why? Where are you?"

"The loft! Carrie, hurry it stings."

Hanging the phone I start to imagine what could possibly run through Samantha's crazy head. She gets stuck in the strangest scenarios. Literally!

As I get to the loft and open the door, I couldn't believe what I saw.

"Yay! My roommate Carrie is here!" Samantha says with an uncomfortable smile on her face.
