I don't have a normal kind of palace and village. I would live in a place people call 'Evil' or 'Dangerous' and other negative names for a scary palace. But really, if anyone were to come, all they would have to do is get used to it. The scares most people give are just tradition and what we all do. We all live n the sky, and young little ones are taught of how to fly or learn magic, and other stuff like that.
Since we live in such a place, people are born with wings, or they just learn magic and how to stay up here. But all the energy and the power we get, is from a huge set of valuable diamonds and gemstones. They all give off power for us to use magic, float on clouds, and other stuff like that. But the kingdom would fall apart if the main gemstone, a huge one guarded by a shield, would be taken. One side of it is shiny and bright, a rainbow color, which is the kingdom under us. The Dream Palace.(More on that later)
But ours is a purple-ish, black-ish, dark and shiny. Only Royals can learn the spell of how to break the shield, and know the location. Lets say one of the Dream palace people try to hold our side. They will have a strange illness, not many antidotes left out there. no one knows where to find the antidote, or how to make it. It was forever known as 'The Crystal Curse'. Our opposite roles make it hard to get in contact with the gemstone or each other. Only Kings and Queens know how to get in contact, to declare war, warn in case of emergency, etc. Everyone, even the royals, have to learn to do combat and fighting. Our kingdom has been protected and safe for many years due to the fact everyone starts training at age 7. Anyways...

I never really understood why my kingdom was different from the one above us.Did something happen? Are we better than them? All these questions i asked my aunt, Queen Flower. But she always ignored that subject for as long as i could remember. I was curious, so i begged the Queen to go over there, about 24/7. She always told me it was dangerous, and she also said that im not supposed to know.
