A week passed by in a blink of an eye. The castle is as lively as ever with the recent victory that took less than three days to achieve. Nobunaga hold a victory feast for soldiers of the Oda to celebrate for two day straight.
"How are you doing, Y/N?" Mitsunari looks up from his Go pieces.
The light brown-haired woman has her hair loose down to her waist. She has two small braids on each side of her head to keep her hair stay in place. She has on a white kimono with vivid small flowers of orange, pink and purple, imprinted on her kimono. The colorful flowers emphasizes her pure look further and makes she stands out among the maids.
"I am doing better now thanks to Ieyasu's medicine. Thank you for asking, Mitsunari-sensei." She smiles.
Ever since her identity is revealed, she never address anyone in the castle with honorifics. To her, Nobunaga is not worth it while the rest of the daimyos treat her as friends. With the exception of Mitsunari who had taken her in as his student in the art of playing Go.
"That is great." Mitsunari gently smiles. "Bitter medicine is hard to drink but they are the best out there. Ieyasu-sama is really amazing."
Mitsunari gently put down his piece, deciding the fat of the game. Y/N sighs in defeat, she never won any game against him.
Outside the room, the maids are running to get everything prepared. Tonight is a feast for the daimyos and generals to celebrate the victory as well as Nouoki's farewell party. He is to leave Azuchi early tomorrow's morning since his duty here is finished.
"Have you been playing against Nobunaga-sama?" Mitsunari's voice is as soft and gentle as ever, compared to the cruel Nobunaga.
"No, the last time I seen him is a week ago." Y/N shakes her head with a smile, Mitsunari's company always soothes her.
"I see, Nobunaga-sama has been busy for a while now, but he can finally take a break today."
Unlike the happy expression showcasing on Mitsunari's angelic face, Y/N isn't feeling any happy that Nobunaga is free from work.
Both of them get up and start walking to the herbs room to get fragrant flowers, but they run into Masamune there.
"Masamune-sama, what are you doing here?" Mitsunari is surprised to see Masumane in the herbs room.
"Ah, I'm coming up with new recipe." The one-eye daimyo greets them with a simple glance before focusing back on a bowl on the table.
"Recipe?" Y/N question him in curiosity.
She suddenly remembers the history texts about Date Masamune. Not only is he a great general, he is considered as a great cook for his soldiers.
"I didn't know this side of you, Masamune." Y/N smiles as she peaks in the bowl that has mysterious ingredients.
"Can you tell what it is?" Masamune has his arms crossed his chest.
"I'm not an expert in herbs." Y/N shakes her head slightly before she walks to another isle to look for the specific fragrant flowers she is looking for.
"Maybe I should ask Ieyasu about this after all." Masamune tastes the substance inside the bowl but his expression shows it is anything but edible.
"You are really talented, Masamune, Mitsunari." Y/N said without looking at them. "Same with Ieyasu and Hideyoshi. And of course Mitsuhide."
Even though she knows Mitsuhide is considered as a traitor in history, but she has to admitted his talent as a markman as well as his intelligence. She picks out a yellow herb and a purple flower.
