As the plane landed the thus of the wheels hitting the ground startled me out of my mini nap. Once I got all my things from the flight I made my way to the exit, and once I arrived there was a small group of girls holdings sign that wrote "welcome back Corbyn!" i grinned and walked towards then to talk for a few minutes knowing the other boys won't be back for another few minutes.
I took photos with all the girls and as I waved goodbye to all of them there was a sting in my chest.

my mother rolled her eyes at me knowing saying anything would make her argument less valid. I had been working for the past few years and had a decent amount in my bank account, enough to get me to la and a place for a bit. I'd have to get a job once I'm there, but that was completely fine with me.
"if you're under my roof you're not going anywhere," mom stated leaving me nowhere to argue. I stormed up to my room and flipped open my computer to buy the best cheapest ticket to Los Angeles. The second I clicked purchase my heard did this weird sting feeling, I brushed it off and began packing.
