Prologue

[A/N's POV]

<<<FLASHBACK>>>

Y/N is fast asleep. She doesn't care if she oversleeps because there is something...or should I say someone makes her feel as if she is in paradise. At first she thought that she was living alone in that world where she sleeps... but now she knows that there is a prince that, what she assumes, will forever stay by her side. Who is that prince? Well..it's the one and only Kim Taehyung.

"Y/N, can I tell you something?", The little toddler Taehyung said to Y/N.

"What is it?", little Y/N asked.

"I-I l-like you", he confessed feeling shy asked he looked down at the tall ankle length grass.

Y/N was shocked, puzzled, confused and happy at the same time as she actually feels the same.

While having those mixed feelings, she answered his question without hesitation.

"A-Actually...I l-like you too".

The little boy smiled at what he just heard. He opened his arms and hugged her tight while Y/N hugged him back with a smile on her face.

"I swear that I am also real...I thought it was all a dream until you said you are real...wait what??? I'm just confused now." Taehyung said gripping tightly on his hair, not knowing what to say.

Y/N just giggled at his cute behaviour.

"But please...wait for me" you, knowing what he meant, nodded with a smile.

"Okay, I will. Don't worry."

"Promise?", He put out his pinky finger, waiting for yours.

"Promise", you said with a smile once again as you intertwined your pinky finger with his.

"Will we meet each other here again tomorrow?" You asked.

"I will be waiting for you here as usual 😊. I have to go now", he looked at you waiting for an answer.

"I'll be going too. See you tomorrow!" You waved at him. He replied with another wave as you both parted your ways.

As soon as you walked away, your eyes were wide open. You saw your bedroom, closet, your stuffed toys and everything else

*Everything's back to the way it used to be* you thought.

When you looked to your left, you saw your mother sitting at the side of your bed.

Your mother realized you woke up so she gave you a bright smile.

"How is my little princess doing? How was your sleep? Did you get one of those dreams?" She asked. She never believed it was real but you thought that it didn't matter.

"I'm okay, mom! I had lots of sleep😝. Prince Taehyung confessed that he likes me!!!", you said out of excitement.

"Then what did you say?" Your mother pretended to believe but she would still listen to you.

"I said I like him too😁"

"We'll are you two a couple now?", She asked. You knew that she only thinks of it as a dream but you were okay with that because she is still willing to listen.

"Well...no"
"Consider being a couple next time"

Your mother said while smirking

"U-Umm..maybe w-when I'm old enough???", You said slightly flustered at the thought of you and Taehyung together. You may be a toddler, but not an ordinary one. A really smart toddler 😁

Your mother just laughed at said, "It's okay. I'm not forcing you. I hope your love will last long😊"

"Thanks mom"
"Let's go for breakfast. I made some downstairs"
"Okay, mom!"

And that is where Y/N's journey starts.
