"Come in my dear "Athena Said. In her arms lies a sweet baby with golden hair that shined like stars and skin as perfect as a pink pearl "don't you think that she is Lovely?" "Yes, she shines in the basking glow of her beautiful mother." replies Poseidon Athena blushes and looks back at the child, whom she was amazed with "I can't believe that she will become a beautiful goddess "ponders Athena. "What I cannot believe is how you can survive this extremely, extremely irritating sound that those mortals call crying. Then Again each tear that she sheds purifies all the water on the earth.."
mumbles Poseidon. "I believe that this is all a part of the mother hood process, one must cradle and rock her baby back to its blissful slumber. "Carefully Athena gets on her feet and slowly starts dancing with the child in her arms. Soon Poseidon joins and the baby soon surely begins to droop her eyelids and goes fast to sleep. "my Owl, I just had realization we have not even named the delicate girl. "Let's call her. . . "starts Athena " Arista!" they say in unison. The couple roared with laughter that shook the room violently that the cradle was knocked to the ground. Poseidon straightens up the room and lays the baby down in the crib. " I don't know much about children" he says softly " but I know that this one is a good fish." In another room in Mt.Olympus,an envious goddess was busy planning and plotting against this affair. Gazing deeply into the mist that surrounded her, she sees a newlywed affectionately caressing their baby. "I, nemesis will not stand for this !" She cries. " Poseidon should have been mine, but NO, that bird- brained, smarty pants had to have him all for herself, how selfish!" She slowly turned to look back at the foggy white mist surrounding her. "Arista." She sighed " if she were mine too,I would have named her something much more suitable and modern, like Amphitrite, not that other stupid name, what was it again? Oh yes, right! Arista. Oh I despise it, I loath it!" Nemesis knocked over the sacred goblet producing the mist." When I get my hand on that little water trout, she's going to pay" she jotted down a mental note and disappears out of the room with an obnoxiously loud " poof!".

Three days later. . .

Athena and Poseidon threw the baby Arista a feast in which every god and goddess would attend. Each god offered the child a gift to honor her birth that gives her a special talent in which would have helped her in her special goddess job. All the gifts were good -hearted except for that one wrong voice recording filled with sheer and pure hatred from non other than the goddess herself, Nemesis. Her plan tho thwart the couples love was to create a recording that consisted of terrible and hurtful words about the duo that sounded exactly like them. The gods handed the child each of their gifts. They gave the little Arista gifts of joy, beauty, kindness and more. From her own parents she earned wisdom and the ability to command each and every body of water to do her bidding. Finally it was Nemesis's turn to grant the child her gift. Inside the gift box, a whittled, wooden horse that bear the treacherous curse of Nemesis. The insults sprouted almost immediately. Athena and Posideon turned to each other with looks of horror on their faces filled with sadness, hatred, and surprise." How could you say that you loved me when you clearly don't, you overgrown codfish!" Cried Athena. "I never said those things, why don't you believe me?" Sobs Poseidon. "I can't take this anymore, I'm calling the marriage off!" "Let's not be rash, there must be some kind of misunderstanding my dear!" "No, we shall be rid of each other in the morning and our child shall never, ever become a goddess!" At dawn the next morning, Poseidon and Athena were divorced and they had to look at their child one last time for the had agreed to send her to earth with Hermes in hope she would find a new and loving family. Both parents shed tears and departed from the child and watched her fly swiftly through the sky with Hermes back to earth. Surprisingly, the goddess Aphrodite appeared next to both gods. "I know that I am too late but love is important and it will always overcome any trial life has to offer. In that case, I am most sure that you will see your dear daughter again soon." Whispered Aphrodite.

Fifteen years later. . .

A bell rang throughout the hallway and all of the students come pouring out of the classrooms where they can chill and relax from a tough morning of work in school. One particular group of three came slowly down the stairs, laughing and listening to the tune of "Feel This Moment" by Pitbull and Cristina Agulara, but soon they would have to leave that privilege behind for something greater. Those three people were Gliss Dove, a blond, blue eyed 15 year old who was the schools most popular fashion trender. Jake Dove, Gliss's blond, blue eyed broad shouldered 15 year old twin. He was the captain of the foot ball team and no other person in school would dare to challenge him. His muscular arms even intimidated the trouble makers at school. Finally the last person was Arista White, the same girl at the beginning of her life, but she had grown so much. Arista was now the most down-to-earth girl at her school and was Gliss and Jake's best friend forever. She is now a 15 year old and developed her mothers golden brown hair and her fathers magnificent deep blue eyes. School had just ended and they were finally on their anticipated summer vacation. All Arista had on her mind was to chill with Gliss and Jake. They were a few feet away from home when suddenly a flash of bright light and a man who appeared from the smoke. "Arista!" He cried. "I am Hermes, the messenger of mount Olympus."" Haha very funny, what kind of prank is this?" Asked Jake. "This is no prank. Arista's biological parents are Posidon and Athena. You are their daughter." "But how!?" Asked the three teens. "I sent the three of you to your foster parents. You two are the twins of the goddess Aphrodite." The three of them gazed at Hermes while he told the story of how Arista was banished from mount Olympus to earth. He explained what she must do to get back to the palace. "Listen, I have a grave mission for you all, you must work together to once again defeat the hydra, for his son, has finally arisen from its thousand year hibernation. Last time, Heracules defeated him by cauterizing the stump of hi sneak after severing them off. You must do the same. Here Jake, take this lighter. It's so strong that it could turn the coldest of days to become a scorching one." He handed Jake the lighter gently." To Gliss, take this leather pouch, it could stretch to become any size possble. Place one of the hydras heads in it to prove your deed, and to you Arista, this was the sword your parents made for you when you were very small." Arista gasped when she saw the sword. The hilt was decorated with gemstones of all types. When she unsheathed the sword, it revealed the most precious, indestructible jewel, diamond. "its enchanted by the gods" claimed Hermes. "it will breakthrough anything and everything. Now to get to the hydra think of him and only him. Then hold hands and poof! you are there! Now you try it." The demigods held hands and though of the evil ghastly thing Hydra. Suddenly the world started spinning and swirling. Arista opened her to find that was in front of a gargantuan sleeping monster." Guys over here!" called Jake. He was located in a tiny cave that easily let the three fit inside." Okay." Started Gliss. "We need to draw out a plan." On the sandy floor, she drew out a battle strategy. "that's awesome!"said jake "lets go get into position." Gliss went into a position behind of the hydras body to keep the newly acquired leather pouch safe. Jake took one of the ends of the hydras body wich put him on the left side of the hydra. Arista was set on the right side of the hydra, ready to slice off the heads at once." ready set go!" whispered gliss. Finally the plan went into action. Arista ran across the room slicing off the beasts heads. Jake went to each head and burned each stump on the neck. Gliss stretched open the leather pouch and caught a head as if it was a baseball. They looked back at the mess they had made. Hydra's lifeless body went limp and bloody, bloody severed heads rolled around the entire cavern. Suddenly, a bright flash of light came and took them into a different place." Olympus." Whispered The three. Meraculosly, the zany Hermes appeared and started leading them to the throne room where all the gods were waiting for them. The first two gods to stand up were Arista's parents, Athena and Poseidon. Athena's hazel brown hair cascaded over her shoulder. Her golden, flowing dress trailed behind her as regalily as a goddess, which she is. Poseidon's white beard shined like a polished pearl and his clothes were made out of the finest silks." Arista!" They both called. " we've missed you so much darling." Cooed Athena. "No! This can't be happening. I caused Poseidon and Athena to fight, I caused the hydra to reawaken, and I am the one who has always loved Poseidon!" All around the room, shocked faces filled the area. Nemesis was so furious that she advanced on Arista and almost started to attack but suddenly, a hand on her shoulder stopped her and she disappeared." Enough." Said Hades. "I will revive her later." Arista ran to her parents and embraced them." You have proven yourself my darling."" Where is the beast's head?" Asked Poseidon. Gliss revealed the hydra's severed head, still bloody from battle."you have proven yourself as heroes of Olympus and shall be made gods." Declared Poseidon." Jake, you shall be Ares's loyal companion, and to Gliss, you shall be Aphrodite's right arm. Finally, to my dear Arista to be the goddess Of kindness and valor omitted by the Mortals." With that, the same nostalgic bright white flash appeared and they were wisked away to their new life.
