"You sure you're okay?" Hazel asks as we stand at the front gate of the school.

The front was empty. I had decided to go home early. Getting beat isn't always the best thing in the world.

"I should be okay." I reply. "I'm just gonna go home and chill."

She nods and stares at me softly. "About the night at the building-"

"Im sorry." I say. "Just thought that I would say it before you did. Because, you shouldn't exactly be saying sorry."

Hazel laughs. "Well, I accept your apology."

"I just need you to know that I have so much things going on right now. My head races too fast at times and I say things I don't mean."

"That's okay." Hazel smiles. "I get it."

"You're an amazing girl." I say.

"You're an amazing guy." She replies.

Hazel hugs me and I hold her tightly. She leaves back into school grounds and I start to make my way home. I limped the whole entire way back. My stomach was scrambled and it hurt whenever I breathed.

When I get home I do the usual. Throw my bag onto the ground and lay in bed. My mind started going in all sorts of places. Why did Carson see James last? Why not me? She didn't care about me enough to not say goodbye? Or to leave a clue to where she is?

I begun to cry. I begun to weep. It was all too much. And I couldn't sleep knowing that Carson is out there. Possibly cold and afraid.

I hear my door open and I feel someone standing in the doorway.

"What happened to you?" He whispered. "Who did this?"

"Get out." I say. "Leave me alone."

"Who did this to you Ethan?" Grayson cried. "You have to talk to me!"

"I don't want to fucking talk to you!" I scream.

He stands there with a soft look on his face. "I'm sorry."

"It's too late for that." I reply. "Get out and leave me alone."

Grayson slams my door shut and I close my eyes.

Wherever she is. Ill be here waiting.
