"Who told you it was James and Sage?" I laugh.
Gray smirked. "Hazel."
"Of course." I sigh.
Grayson and I were driving home. It was 2:48am in the morning. It was still early and I wanted to go do more. I felt so alive. I had felt free.
We pulled into the driveway and we sat there for a moment.
"I missed this." Grayson said.
"I did too."
"We'll do it more often." He nods. "I promise."
I grin at him and I nod. "Sounds good to me."
"And, about Carson. Whatever happens, happens. And I'll always have your back."
"Always." I raise my eyebrows.
He laughed and we both get out. Grayson creeps to his room and I creep to mine. I take off my t-shirt and I jump into bed. The moon shined into my room. The night was quiet.
I laid back and I close my eyes. It was hot. Extremely hot and I couldn't sleep. I hear noises outside my window. It was coming closer and closer. I get up and I grab my baseball bat. The window opens slowly, a figure comes into my room. They place a long board on the ground.
And I was about to swing. Until they pull down the hood. It exposed her long, silk, brown hair. She smiled at me and I drop the bat on the ground. I look her up and down.
"Woodridge?" I ask.
She laughs and nods. "Hello to you, Dolan."
