"come on y/n , its halloween" Nicole said , she was one of my friends at school , we weren't that close but she started sitting with me during lunch , we hung out after school we even got paired up in history for a project , so we've been practically inseparable , what can i say she's way too nice , its a shame we weren't friends sooner
"but then i'll have to see Emily and Matt" i rolled my eyes still not agreeing with her
"but i know its been forever since you've been at a party , i know because i never miss them come on , you could use some cheering up maybe some dick who knows" she smirked , my eyes widened at her comment
"NICOLE" i slapped her arm playfully making her giggle
"what , i'm just kidding" she rested her palm on her now sore shoulder still smirking like an idiot
"you know i won't give up until you agree to come with me" she crossed her arms looking at me
i sighed dramatically "fine , i'll go" i said
"that's my girl" she hugged my shoulder staring proudly at me making me laugh , damn this girl won't rest until she gets what she wants

As weird as it sounds me and Nicole decided to wear almost the same costume , we went as "the dunkin' donuts" yes its weird , but why not ? i mean its our last year in high school.

Arriving to the party that held place at Marcus's , captain of the soccer team , the guy that every girl at school would die to go out with him , gotta admit , he's pretty hot , he's tall with brown long hair that was always held up in a bun and emerald green eyes who are to die for.
the party was crowded so many people were there , even people who don't go to our school , but there were familiar faces
"you ready to have some fun ?" Nicole practically yelled over the loud music that was playing in the background
"fuck yeah" i yelled holding my red plastic cup in the air , bringing it down to my lips i let the bitter liquor slide down my throat , squeezing my eyes because of how bitter it tasted , honestly it was my first time drinking
"slow down girl , don't wanna get yourself drunk" Nicole giggled beside me
Just when i thought my night was going great , i bumped into Emily , looking at her i brushed past her not wanting to start an argument because she's not worth it
"check out the fatty" she smirked causing some people to giggle at her comment
"not in the mood for your childish acts Emily" i hissed
"aw , honey you're the reason i work out" she fake pouted still keeping that smirk of hers on her sorry ass face , she knows well how to push my buttons , she knows how i get affected by comments over my body , i stood there without saying a word , i fought the urge to let my tears fall , i bit down on my trembling lip , i wasn't that kind of a person to talk back or to fight
"what ? cat got your tongue ?" she laughed again , i felt a grip on my left arm making me slowly look back , only to find Matt looking deeply into my glossy eyes , staring into his ocean blue ones i shiver at his touch
"the hell is going on here Emily" he spat
"babe , i was looking for you everywhere , i was just here with y/n because she had bad stomach ache and she needed some help" she started at him smiling that bitch
"is that true y/n?" he turned his gaze to me waiting for my response , before i could speak she cut me off
"of course it is babe , why would i lie to you" she wrapped her arms around his neck pecking his lips , i turned around not wanting to deal with her shit anymore , i hated her for humiliating me in front of the entire school , i went inside the house only to find more wasted people dancing their ass off , i continued to walk looking for the bathroom , minutes later i felt another grip on my arm , i sighed not wanting to deal with anyone anymore
"what is it ?" i spat looking back , finding him standing there looking as amazing as always wait why do i keep saying that? he wore a black jacket with the hood over his head and some torn skinny jeans , even though he wasn't wearing a costume he still managed to look good
"no , i'm fine" i forced a smile making sure he believed me because i didn't want to talk about it
"you sure , it looks like you've been crying" he licked his lips still not taking his caramel eyes off me
"yeah Jason trust me everything's fine" i lied , his thumb met my left cheek , wiping the tears that were still on my face from before , i tucked a stand of hair behind my ear looking down , i was too embarrassed to face him
"hey , look at me" he whispered but loud enough for me to hear him , i still kept my eyes glued to the ground , he placed his index finger and his thumb on my chin slowly lifting my face so my chocolate eyes met his caramel ones , i took my bottom lip into my mouth chewing on it slowly
"stop doing that" he brushed his thumb on my bottom lip setting it free
"why" i asked still not taking my eyes off of him
"because i'm the one who should be biting that lip" he licked his lips before cupping my face and leaning in closer to me ..
"y/n !" i heard someone screaming my name , i turned around to see Nicole
"hey" i said leaning my hand on my left arm looking down
"where have you been , i heard Emily-" i cut her off
"yeah , let's not talk about that now , i think i'm gonna head home , i don't feel so good" i sighed
"want me to take you home?" she placed a hand on my shoulder
"nah , i'll be okay , i'll call you tomorrow though" i forced a smile
"you sure babe?" she licked her lips
"yeah, yeah don't worry about me" i said and i gave her a hug before turning around , my eyes caught sight of him again still standing just where i left him , i couldn't help but blush , the fact that we almost kissed and i didn't do anything to stop it
