Chapter 7

Jennifer's point of view

'And I saw that...'

Max was awake! He was sitting on his bed crying,I got a heart attack. he heard Marc's and I conversation, he heard about Marc doing drugs while he was with the twins. My whole world just got devastated.

I didn't know what to tell Max,he couldn't stop crying so I just said what my heart told me.

'Max baby,my sweetie,everything is going to be fine,daddy will be ok and mommy is gonna help him fight everything,I will do anything for him because he gave me you guys. And I'm the mode luckiest mom in the world to have the two of you. I promise that he won't go anywhere.'

Max stopped crying and he looked at me with his big red eyes,he gave me a confused look,like he didn't know what I was talking about. And then he asked,

"Mom? What are you talking about? What happened to dad? Is something wrong????"

I got such a HUGE relief! He DIDNT hear any of what Marc and I were talking.

But then I remembered he was crying before so I asked him what's wrong,
He told me that he had a nightmare and he's afraid to go to sleep again.

I told him that it's ok because we have to leave as soon as possible,dad is not feeling so good and we need to go back to my house.
I asked him to start packing up his things and in the meantime I will wake emme up.

I started kissing emme on the godhead and she woke up quickly.
She's so cute,I thought.
She started to packing up her things as well and within 10 minutes everything was ready to go.

It's 4am and I stated to get tired. I was going down the stairs and Marc noticed I was dizzy a little bit. He asked me if I'm sure that I don't want to satay here with the kids for the rest of the night and in the morning we will all go to the zoo.
It was tempting but I knew it won't be good for me or Marc.
So I said that's it's ok,I will be ok and were leaving.

But then,emme and Max heard it and came by all smiling and jumping,they begged me to stay just for this night and gave me their puppy eyes.

Ugh,I really can't resist to those eyes. So I said JUST for the night. Nothing more!
They nodded and went back to bed.

Marc came closer and whispered: "thank you Jen,seriously. I owe you my life."

I smiled at him.

"That's ok Marc,I will be with you no matter what. Remember? "

He nodded.

I went to change to my pajama and sat on the sofa cuddled with a huge fluffy blanket.
I was watching a movie and I asked Marc if he wants to join me.
He smiled at me,
God I missed that smile!

He jumped on the side right next to me and we cuddled.

The movie was over and a tear fell down from my eye.
It was very emotional movie and then Marc started laughing at me because I was in tears.

"Jen,I forgot how emotional you are,so the next time you'll ask me to watch a movie with you id rather not to." And then he laughed at me.

I laughed as well and I threw a pillow on him.

The next thing I know we were In the middle of an intensive pillow fight.

We threw so many pillows at each other and honestly it was so much fun.

Then we both say next to each other on the couch and we looked at each other's eyes. I was hypnotized by him. And then I got close to him...
And closer...
And closer...
And I kissed him.

It lasted for like 3 seconds and then suddenly,
