Reggie Mantle

You were a River Vixen and you had been dating the captain of the Bulldogs, none other than Reggie Mantle. You guys have been together since your freshman year in high school, sure you guys have had some fights but none of them have been extremely bad that caused you to break up, not even when you learned about the whole playbook thing. You trusted Reggie because he told you about it and he said that he didn't put you in there because he loved you to much and that he can never do that to you.  You go to school and stood outside the door waiting for him to show up which is what you guys did everyday. You stand outside for about 30 minutes which is unusual because Reggie was always here before you, you thought nothing of it, until the first bell rings signalling for you to go to 1st period. You were disappointed that Reggie didn't show up like he normally does, so you check your phone to see if he texted you bu there was nothing from him. You decide to go to class and hoping to see Reggie later on in the day. It was lunch time now and you still haven't seen or heard from Reggie all day. You see Archie sitting with Veronica, Betty, Jughead and Kevin, so you decide to see if Archie knew anything about Reggie's whereabouts. After what feels like forever, you make it to Archie's table. 

"Hey Archie."  you say. He turns around hearing your voice as him and his friends look at you sadly. 

"Hey Y/N, what's up?" He asks. 

"Have you heard from Reggie, because he hasn't texted me all day and I haven't seen him all day." 

"No I haven't, have you checked the football field?" The football field, how can I not have thought about that sooner. 

"Thank you so much Archie, I didn't even think about that." You say running out the cafeteria doors and out the main doors and head to the football field. Once you get to the football field, what you see completely melts your heart, because, in the middle of the middle of the football field, was your boyfriend, surrounded by peddles from roses and lily's your favorite flowers. (Sorry if you guys don't like those flowers but you can change them if you want.) You run out to where he stands and see that he's holding a bouquet of roses and lily's and jump into his arms. He swiftly catches you and spins you around with a big smile on his face. After a while he sets you down on your feet but keeps you in his arms. You look up at him with a smile on your face as well. You look around at the football field and see what he has set up. 

"What's all this for?" You ask him. He gets down on one knee and looks up at you. You cover your mouth with both hands as he reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a little box and opens it, you see this beautiful ring with your birthstone in a heart. 

"This isn't a proposal, but I know you've been dealing with a lot of issues at home, this is a promise ring, I promise that no matter what life throws at you, I will always be by your side, I promise that I will one day add a ring onto your left ring finger, a ring that proves how much love I have for you, but since we are still in high school, this is a promise that we won't ever give up on each other.  I love you so much Y/N M/N Y/L/N, will you take this ring and go to the dance with me?" he pours his heart out to you, and you stand there, with tears running down your face. To emotional to say anything you just nod your head yes. Reggie stands up and takes your right hand, and puts the ring onto your right ring finger then  pulls you into a very passionate kiss. You smile and kiss him back with just as much passion. You both pull away for breath and rest your foreheads against each other and smile while trying to catch your breath. 

"I love you so much Y/N Y/L/N" 

"I love you too Reggie Mantle"
