Like all dreams, mine flowered from fascinations and inspirations. Maybe you dream to be a Doctor because your third cousin from you fathers side went off to become one and ended up saving someone's life. Granted, my dream didn't grow from something as deep and complex as that. Actually, compared to that one my dream seems pretty lame. But any ways, it all started on my 10th birthday. My parents took our family to this restaurant called "The Red Piano". At first I thought it was just some dumb restaurant for rich upper class people (based on the fact that there was a dress code in order to enter. Only fancy clothes; dresses, skirts, dress shirts, dress pants, etc.) but that thought was quickly pushed to the side. When we went inside the first thing to greet us was ironically a giant red piano perched on a circular stage. It was kind of hard to miss it being as it was right in the center of a sea of tables and it had a bright light glimmering down on it making it seem so glamorous. At first I thought it was only there for display (which I found to be stupid and a waste of money) but then a crowd of people poured into the restaurant just as our waitress helped us find a seat. Before I could comprehend what was happening, a blonde lady in a golden sequenced dress walked onto the stage and sat on the chair in front of the piano.
"Good evening everyone, my name is Zoe Ramirez as most of you already know, and I will be the pianist for tonight!" the lady announced.
She then proceeded to perform various songs on the piano as she sang along while her fingers danced along the keyboard. It was beautiful. Most of the people were, I guess you could say fans or regulars, and you could tell because they were all singing along to every song she played (even to her original songs) and would occasionally cheer her on. It looked so fun to be up there. By the time we left the restaurant I was replaying that moment over and over again in my head until I drifted off to sleep. I even dreamt about it, not just that night, but for the rest of the nights to come. Even now I dream about it, it's come to the point where I even day dream about it. At the time (on my birthday at the restaurant) I was taking piano lessons and I was just starting out so I was so-so. But five years later I am better at the piano, a working progress with my singing skills, older, and more determined then ever to perform at the Red Piano.

Sorry if this chapter is boring, it was suppose to be a fill in chapter sort of thing. But now that we got that out of the way, everything will make sense (more or less) and I can get on with writing more exciting chapters (again... more or less). Just so you guys know, there is such a thing as a restaurant called Red Piano. I don't know if they have one anywhere aside from Edmonton, Alberta but it does exist. So if you happen to be in Edmonton (if you want to) go to West Edmonton Mall, go to Bourbon Street (it's inside of the mall) and you should see a sign that says Red Piano. You do have to dress up like stated in this chapter (i wasn't makng it up) but whatever you do, DON'T expect to see a Zoe Ramirez. She does not exsist. But yeah, so thanks for reading, it means a lot! :)
