Chapter one

Grainne’s POV.

Laughing carelessly as I tossed my shoulder length, auburn hair, I couldn’t help but be incredible excited about what was happening. Just a simple Irish girl, it had always seemed unimaginable that I would ever leave my little village in Wexford, let alone be travelling with no one other than my very best friend Katie. With the pure excitement bubbling like butterflies in the very pit of my stomach, I almost raced to the conveyer belt to collect my luggage. 3 months. Katie and I. LA. Wed arranged work before we left Ireland and I couldn’t believe the amazing job opportunities we already had planned. Katie would be modelling, whilst I would be working as an assistant to the manager of an apparently important boy group. Jremy, I think his name was. ‘Come on Grainne, were already late from the flight being delayed and that guy you’re working for will be waiting with the car,’ I could tell that Katie was just as excited as I was for this trip, maybe more so. Things at home hadn’t been easy for her lately, her dads drinking was getting worse and she just hadn’t been herself recently. When I decided I was coming to America, I knew I had to get her out with me and show her there was more to life than quivering defencelessly in her room, hoping that day would be a good one with her dad and that no one would get hurt. Smiling the brightest grin I could to her, I nodded enthusiastically. ‘Coming hon!!’ I almost squealed, and with that we were off!!

Jremy’s POV.

Fifteen minutes late already they were. Unbelievable. I was beginning to regret agreeing to take this girl for the summer already! However, I’d seen her curriculum vitae and photo, and so had the boys. They’d been delighted with her and thought she was perfect for the job. She was the roughly the same age as the boys too, just four months younger than James, and I knew how much I would mean to them to have a friend that age around the house all the time, especially one that wasn’t using them for their fame. So reluctantly I waited and thankfully just a few minutes later I saw them coming, well who I presumed was them. Two eager girls, in awe of their new surroundings trying to take everything in around them. I held up the sign I had made with their names on it, just to be sure it was them, and sure enough the two girl’s id spotted we heading my direction. They we beautiful girls and it appeared as if effortlessly. They’d been on this long flight with no makeup and little sleep and yet I knew the boys would be excited to have them live with them once they saw them. I knew James had been upset recently over veronica, although it had ended ages ago, sometimes it just got to him and he couldn’t understand why. Oh well, I really hoped these girls would make a difference to the boys for the better.
