2. winwin: not-so accidental encounter

"(Y/n!)" Your dad called from downstairs. "Get me a drill, would you? I'm fixing the car."
"Coming," you said as you walked down the basement stairs with a drill in hand.
You handed it to your dad. "Thanks, sweetie," he said. You smiled innocently. "No problem!"
The basement opening had been lifted, revealing the scenery outside. It was a very nice day, so you decided it would be nice to take a stroll in the park.
"Dad, I'm gonna be out for a while," you called out to your dad as you walked outside.
"Okay, (y/n). But don't stay out past 10!" he said. You smiled back and walked outside.

When you got to the park, you found a bench under a tree. So you sat there, listening to music on your phone while you took out your sketchbook from your bag and began to sketch something.
"Um, is it o-okay if I sit here?" a soft, shy voice said, interrupting your drawing. You were about to explode at him for interrupting you when you saw the features of his face. You didn't want to yell at such an innocent-looking boy!

"Sure," you said, smiling.
You continued to sketch until the boy spoke again.

"I-I'm Dong Sicheng, by the way. But you can call me Winwin.." the boy said quietly. You smiled again. This boy was too cute.

"My name is (y/n). Nice to meet you!" you said happily, holding out your hand.

"Nice to meet you too." the boy said as he grinned.

"So, do you live around here?" you asked while you turned back to your sketchbook.

"Actually, no I don't. I'm from China, but I'm with my family here because we're trying to find a house here. So you can say I do and don't live here." Winwin explained. You laughed.

"That's cool!" you said happily. "I live around here, and I can tell you, it's really nice!" you said.

"I bet all the neighbors like you," Winwin told you. You tilted your head.

"Hm? What do you mean?" you asked him.

"You seem like a really nice person!" He said as he touched your shoulder. You blushed at the sudden compliment and skin ship.

"Oh! Th-thank you!" you replied, grinning from ear to ear. Winwin giggled.

"Hey, (y/n), can I show you something?" he asked you. You were about to open your mouth when a girl shrieked from behind Winwin and pulled him into a bone-crushing hug.
"SICHENGGG! Ah I was looking all over for you!" the girl yelled, earning annoyed looks from the other people in the park. Your heart dropped. Was that Winwin's girlfriend? But when you saw the annoyed look on Winwin's face, your hopes raised a little.

"Please get off of me," he said calmly. You were surprised at how calmly he was handling the situation.

"But Sichengieee, you love me! Right?" the girl said. Then she looked at you and wrinkled her nose. "And who is this, Sicheng?" she asked him, still keeping eye contact with you.

"This is (y/n)." Winwin said, suddenly wrapping his arms around you protectively. You blushed a little, but it went away as soon as the girl stepped closer to your face.
"I'm Fern. And you better not mess with my man or else you're gonna get jumped. By me." the girl said intimidatingly.

"Fern, I don't love you anymore," Winwin said calmly, trying to hide the anger in his voice. "I love someone else."
Fern sneered.

"Oh really? Let me guess, is it little (y/n) right there?" she said sarcastically.

"Actually, yes it is (y/n). I fell in love with him/her today." Winwin said. You blushed intensely.
Fern's eyes widened in fury.

"...hah! Y...you're lying...right..?" she said quietly.

"Nope."
And with that, Fern walked away furiously. You turned to Winwin.

"Thank you back there. I didn't want her to---" you were about to finish your sentence when Winwin grabbed your shoulders and pulled you into a long kiss. Your eyes widened, but you smiled into it. Then you two pulled away, blushing and smiling.

"Sorry, (y/n)...I know it was so sudden, but I actually do like you. That's why I asked to sit next to you. You seem like a very nice person, and th-that's why I like you." Winwin explained. You smiled.

"That's perfectly fine! Plus, I like you too...so..."

Winwin giggled and pulled you into a hug.

"I'm so glad I met you, (y/n)."

"I'm glad I met you too, Winwin."
