*Hailey P.O.V*

The next day I went to school. I stayed up the whole night thinking about what Mrs- Emma said. When I finally got ready I put some concealer on to mask the dark circles around my eyes. I applied some mascara and straightend my hair.

I slipped on my vans and walked to school since I still had time. I walked past Alex's house and I thought I should walk with him. I walked up to his porch and knocked the door. Emma opened it and I greeted her and asked if Alex is here. Just then I heard some loud thumping come from upstairs. My vampire instinct made me run up to find Alex on thr floor and his room was thrashed. "Alex? Wake up!" I got a bottle of water and splashed his face with the water. Emma was watching over my shoulder.

His eyes fluttered open and I heaved a sigh of relief. "Oh my God you scared me," I said carrasing his cheek. he groaned and held his head. "I have a headache. What happened?" he asked sitting up. I noticed all the signs and his room being thrashed. "You went through the second phase. You had so many questions that it awakened a part of you that you never knew was there. You got angry and thrashed your room and you fainted later. Side effects are headaches and maybe lost of appetite," I said looking around his room. "Why are you here?" he asked standing. "Not that I don't mind. Is something up?" he aksed. "I wanted to walk you to school and answer some of your questions," I answered slightly offended.

"Oh," was all he could answer. Oh. We left after he took an asprin and I made sure he was fine.

*Alexander P.O.V *

"I thought you said only the 1st phase hurt?" I asked. She laughed. "That hurt?" she answered/asked. She laughed again and I just watched her. He laugh was so cute. "Why didn't you come to school yesterday? I missed you," I joked. She stopped laughing "I was looking for answers for you," she answered. "Cool," was all I could say. "Why didn't you tell me I could read minds?" I asked her. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "You can read minds?" she asked. I nodded. "I can't read yours though," I said. She nodded. "I don't know really. I never had that," she answered. "Really? what super power do you have?" I jokingly nudged her. She stopped and stood in front of me. Close. "I can fly," she whispered into my ear. "Really?" I was seriously shocked. Wow.

"No you dimwit. I was just kidding I don't have any powers," she said emphasizing the word powers. "Even my brother has no super powers," she said laughing. Wait. She has a brother?

*Hailey P.O.V *

"You have a brother?" shit. I told him. Shit. I slipped out. "y-yeah," I said stuttering. "He was the one who told me that you were a pureblood," I answered and looked down. He lifted my chin up and I looked at him. "You don't have to feel bad. I don't really care. I just wanted to know," he said and I smiled. He hugged me and my heart was beating a million miles a minute.
