(As you open the dusty book, you find an old note tucked inside. You begin reading it.)

"Please do not begin reading this book. The fact that you are reading this note means that somehow I, Archmage Savos Aren, have fallen. However, I left this as a last hope that the reader may still survive. Heed my warning, put down the tome now. If you begin reading it, the soul trap enchantment etched into the pages will take effect. It will take approximately 16 hours for the effects to drain all of your remaining life force. However, if you have read my warning this far, you obviously have no intention to replace the tome onto its pedestal. If that is the case, I bid you farewell. After all, knowledge is power, and power has a price marked in blood."
