The Alpha's Mate

Chapter 1

Alexander's P. O. V.
"Mom I understand...yeah... I love you too. Bye." Uhg. My mom has been down my throat(*A.N. not literally) about finding my mate from I was 16. I'm just not really rushing to find my mate. I'm focusing on finding my dad's killer.

My dad died when I was 16. I've been searching since I was 18.He was my best friend, my mentor and I loved him dearly. When I turned 18, I didn't want the alpha position yet, so I let my mom continue to rule the pack. I did that because I wanted to find the bastard that killed my dad. While away I've stayed with many packs and trained.

I was not able to find the wolf that killed my dad, so I've decide to come home. My mom has done enough she need to relax and take it easy. She is getting old. If she hear me say this, she would smack me upside my head and say " I am not getting old I'm getting wiser". I miss her so much. I can't wait to see her. I have gotten this reputation of being ruthless. It's true, but I will always be kind hearted to the ones I love.

I can't wait to see my little brother and sister. I'm sure they've grown uo wonderfully. I miss them so much. When I left they were so young. They are now 18. I hope they miss me too.

"Alpha?" My Gamma called me out of my thoughts.
"Yes, what is it?" I asked.
"We are almost there." He said.

I looked out the wondow, and notice we're about five miles away from my pack; 'The Dark Moon Pack.' We are the strongest and most ruthless pack in the world. Whilst away I was always informed on what was going on in the pack. I called and made sure the pack worriors were trainig hard. My dad had worked hard to have the pack where it is and I want to keep it that way.

I was so deep in thought that I almost missed the scent of blood.
"Do you smell that." I asked. I was a little worried.
"Yes alpha, i do. I think it's coming from our pack." Jacab said.(*A.N. His gamma)
By this time we're we're a few minutes from the pack house
"If that's the case press gas and hurry up get there." I boomed in my alpha voice.
" Yes alpha." He said a little scared.

For the love of the Moon Goddess why is this taking so long. The blood smelt like my mother's. 'I need to hurry get there.' I thought. All I could think of is how I can't lose my mom too.
