Hello readers, followers, and people who happen to come across this story and give it a look. This is an original I've been plotting for a long time and now I'm finally getting down to writing it. I'm pretty excited, everything, from the characters to the plot were all thought up in my fabulous brain. I've never written a full original story before, though I've attempted, it's really hard to work through. This is the prologue and I hope to have chapter one finished ASAP because I'm really happy to get this going. I hope those of you who read will enjoy this original.
I'll also be posting my own art of the characters with the chapters eventually, so that you know what they look like. ^_^

From the day they met, she was his world. To him, she was his very own muse, the reason he wanted to wake up everyday and reason he always looked forward to the next.
Emerson (Emery) Roas and Ezra Cantor met when they were both eight years old. The girl was new to the neighborhood called Highland Park. Emery was born in the town, and never had he been an outgoing boy. The idea of even approaching another person had always been conflicting to him. Despite his reticent character, Emery's physical appearance often drew people to him, much to his distaste.
He was a handsome young boy with stunningly vibrant green eyes, like that of an emerald. His hair was thick with a chocolatey-brown hue and always styled neatly while being parted to the side and pushed back. As for his skin tone, it remained tan in winter and darkened to almost a golden brown in summer. His nose and cheeks were dusted with light freckles, only noticeable from a closer perspective.
Ezra arrived on a warm, Spring day in late May. She and her family moved in across the street and two doors down from Emery. He caught his first glimpse of her just as he was getting off of the school bus. The girl climbed her way out of her parents' BMW with the brightest, most happy looking smile on her face. Instantly, she was captivated by her new surroundings, the neighborhood she'd now come to call home. Light-hazel eyes were cast upon their new house, her smile never faded.
A wee little thing she was, with beautiful chestnut hair reaching down a couple inches past her shoulders. Messy bangs framed her face perfectly and seemed to bring out her soft facial structure. Along with that, her hair was a wonderful contrast to her more fair skin tone. Her face was accompanied with a little button nose and dimples on her cheeks when she smiled.
