Chapter 1- When We First Met

"Seriously Noah, if you give me a chance i promise to rock your world" As soon as that sentence left his Ex's lips Noah rolled his eyes
"Kyle, you had that chance and you blew it, i don't care how you ended up cheating on me with your friend, I'm over it so leave me alone" and with that the call was ended.
Flopping on his bed, Noah thought back to when he met Kyle. 'What the hell was i thinking?' with a chuckle he pulled out his phone again and sent his buddy Chad a text.

The two friends continued sending messages until a knock on his door caught his attention.
Noah threw a shoe at the door, signaling to whoever was knocking that they may enter. As his mother walked in he smiled.
"Hey mom, did you need anything?" he sat up and patted a spot on his bed for his mom to sit.
"Actually Noah, there's someone downstairs asking to see you" she smiled, showing her pearly white teeth. "Be a lamb and go see what they need please" and with that she walked away leaving the door open.
After Noah fixed his appearance, he went downstairs to see whom asked to see him.
"Noah! How have you been?" an all too familiar person greeted. With a scowl on his face he pointed at the door. "Leave, get out and never come back again!"
Kyle's sister stared at him with amusement. "You do know that My brother won't give up until he has you all to himself again right?" she giggled and sat down on the couch.
With an annoyed sigh he nodded. "I know Megan, but he has to understand that i don't want anything to do with him"
"Fine I'll let him know" they both stayed silent for a bit before Megan suggested something.
"Want to go to a party later tonight? My friend is hosting it and is inviting everyone" that got Noah thinking.
'It could be a good chance to let loose, but many bad things can happen at parties' without even thinking he began pulling at his knuckles, a bad habit of his.
Megan slapped his hands and he immediately stopped. "If you keep doing that you'll end up breaking skin, dummy" he blushed in embarrassment and nodded.
A while later, the two acquaintances headed up to Noah's room, they both sat on his bed and played some good ol' Mario Kart.
After many races, they started to loosen up a bit. They even asked Noah's mom to bring up some snacks for them. Both began munching away at chips while still being focused on the game in front of them.
"So what do you say Noah?" Megan asked as she won against him yet again. Noah cursed under his breath before nodding "sure I'll go, what time and where?" Megan obviously excited from his answer told him the details of the party.
They then stopped playing the game and just talked about what happened in their lives after his and Kyle's breakup.
"Well i should probably get going before Kyle thinks I'm stealing you from him, Bye Noah I'll see you later" she left in such a hurry, it made Noah wonder if she was okay.
