chapter 6

I try to find the right words to say but couldn't, the words just kinda got chocked in my throat
"uhmm kaarine" maddy furrowed her brow at me

" ya ok here it goes"  i took another deep breath

"first of all maddy am very very sorry for lying to you about my uncle , cause to me he kinda his" 

"i dont get u " she said with a puzzled look

Time to talk kaarine

"well u see he raped me when i was 8" i tears came pouring out as i remember the day
" he was my favourite uncle and..and..." i chocked on my tears turning my face away from her

"and he took advantage of me and a month later my dad raped me also, he was drunk so i thought it was the alcohol but he kept doing it again, and again ,and i just couldn't tell my mum" i sniffed cleaning my tears 

" he also has a side bitch and my mum is his punching bag and i.. I.. dont just get why she wont leave him it just so... ughhh...

i finally look up at maddy and she is an  emotional wreck, well i couldn't say less of myself either

"maddy look i.." she cuts me off by hugging me

" am really sorry arine i didnt know you went through this much i had no right to be mad at you" she says sniffling a little

I pulled her closer taking in her strawberry scent " it OK am sorry to "

She pulled away "arine why didnt you tell me sooner we've been best friends for as long as i can remember"

" am sorry maddy it just not as easy as it looks" i smile at her

" well anyways am happy i finally told you"

She smiles back " am happy you did"

We both just sat there looking at each other until we ordered some food and decide to take a trip down memory lane

"hey bes remember the firt dat we met"

" sure one of the best days of my life" she said grinning so hard

" best days?" i raised a brow " how many do u have"

She laughed " uhmm les see the day i beat u at our favourite dance game and also the day we pranked our maths teacher in junior school"

" oh ya that was epic " i laughed also

" well lets just say all my best days are with you " she smiled

" awwnnn i love u bes " i hugged her

" ok ok i knw am the best now dont get all mushy on me " she pushed me slightly off her

I gave her a sad look and she stuck her tongue out to me,i just smiled watching her devour her burger.

I still remember the first day we met , i was sitting outside during recess eating my lunch cause i liked been alone a lot. Then  some mean kids came  over and one of them smacked it off my hands and pushed me off the bench,they called me a weirdo and all sort of stuffs until she came , she stood up for me despite d fact she looked a little smaller and she wasn't scared at all see told them to back off or else she will visit there house at night and cut off there business.

I smiled to my self at the thought of her threat.

"they got scared and ran off but not before she told them to sleep with one eye open and then she helped me get up i thanked her and ever since then we have been stuck with each other."
