Mermaid's HeartStone (Cali's POV)

Chapter 1

I was born in the land of Fornia. Part of the royalties. We weren't part of the top, but merpeople still consider us. My mom and dad were always there for me. Even the young days were enjoyable. I wish mom and dad didn't do much pressure on themselves. Merpeople will always come to visit the newborn. That newborn was me, my name is Cali Scarlet Night. I was very close to my parents. They were wonderful merpeople. They always tried their best to take care of me and the merpeople. Even their kindness was spread around the kingdom. Which is why many merpeople wonder why we are part of the lower rank of royal. As a princess, it didn't bother me if I was higher or lower rank. I didn't care about ranks, I only care about others. Just like my parents, I had a thing for being kind, caring, and loving. My parents are my inspiration. Although when I was younger they would tell me to be careful every winter season, such as "Don't trust every merperson. Not all of them are well, wonderful." I love my kingdom, although the day my merpeople started to worry, I didn't think much. Until I got older and realize what danger can be a cause.

~INFORMATION ABOUT MOTHER~

My mother is one of a kind. Her heart is pure and filled with beauty. Just like my mother, I have a heart just like hers. Her name is Iris Heart. I always wonder if it was a coincidence. The fact that my mom name matches on her personality and how she is. I adore my mom as much as my mom adores me. One of the features she has is her beautiful smile. I also have that same smile, I believe my mom also like smiling, just like I do. She always wanted the best for the family. Whenever she feels like something is wrong. She will peacefully solve it. My dad is usually stressed out, which is why my mom is helpful! She always has room for him, me, and the kingdom. Her kindness brings the warmest out of our merpeople. 

-INFORMATION ABOUT FATHER-

My dad is interesting. The night gives him luck. His name is Cosmo Night. My dad is hardworking, although very curious. Whenever he has questions he would try to find a way to solve it. He is very curious about many things and whenever he gets curious, the stubbornness comes along with it. I know he is not a quitter, he doesn't quit until he is satisfied with the results. As my dad, he is very well known for his knowledge and power. Some merpeople fear him, although with my mom encouraging them not to be scared, made them relax. Which is why my dad usually goes out when it's night. No one usually comes out at night. Only the merpeople who prefer to stay up during the night. No, my dad doesn't do bad things. He just there to have fun with books. An embarrassing fact about him is that he is in a book club, although he doesn't know that I know that which is why I am very good at keeping secrets. 

!FLASHBACK AS A YOUNGER GIRL!

  It's just like other normal days. I have fun with my friends at school! They are wonderful people. Just like all of the merpeople in my kingdom. I live in a kingdom called, Fornia (For-nya). If you didn't know my name is Cali. My mom and dad are kind and loving. Which is why I believe in them. Merpeople, where I am at, is so nice! I rarely see any sad faces. Although, I believe I overheard mom and dad talking about the danger that is going to happen in the winter season. I don't understand what they mean. I want to but they tell me not to worry about the winter season and that I should focus on staying inside more. They tell me to be careful every winter season, such as "Don't trust every merperson. Not all of them are well, wonderful." Merpeople in my kingdom became more different each winter. I don't know, but I don't really care right now. Life is fine right now. I don't need to worry about anything. It is not like anything will ruin it, right? I am sure nothing will go wrong. Just as long as it stays good, then nothing will do any harm.
