The air blows gently across his face. I can see his chest rise as he smells the jasmine air. Leaning against the trunk of the cherry tree I see grass flowing gently from side to side and birds chirp in the distance. My right hand reaches out to touch my older brother's face, suddenly he grabs my wrist. Startled, I scream. Ash laughs at me "Wow Fay, I get you every time", I try to glare him but I fail miserably. Helpless I giggle with him. My brother helps me up and we start to walk home. Thankfully, we do not have to walk too far, only about ten minutes. But it seemed like forever in the silence of us both. We both knew what was coming when we arrived home. Probably a lecture and a punishment from my father and our mother silently weeping in the corner of the dark room. I guess we were used to it, but our life just seemed too...routine. I mean almost every day that's what happened, our dad got mad at us and my mother cried. And then when there was a full moon my mother was happy and my dad was too, it scared me to see them like that. I don't know why, it just was creepy. I had to keep my thoughts about it to myself too. Ash would never talk with me about our parents, and how it seemed creepy or strange or...just then we arrived home.
