I never really post these sappy love quotes,

so here is my version of a realistic love quote for my peers.

I'm fourteen and I love you more than Harry Potter, Twilight, and Facebook combined. I'm blind to the fact that the maximum relationships in our age group lasts about 2 to 12 weeks.

But I don't care we're in love! Of course I'd never tell you that to your face, because right now we're only at the like-like stage.

Our dates consist of going to the movies and texting each other, despite the fact we are side by side.

I know this relationship's gonna last forever! WINKY FACE! ;)

I'm going to give you my complete opinion on dating, and how awkward I am with boys!

Now dating is truthfully narrowing down your choices for marriage. Let's take this one step at a time, so you're 13, how long do you think this relationship is ACTUALLY going to last?

"I don't know maybe a year?"

TRANSLATION: "two more weeks at most."

And do you ever see yourself marrying this boy in the future?

"Uh, I don't know, probably not...."

TRANSLATION: "I'm just dating him to say that I'm dating someone."

My point is, dating ruins friendships! Whether's its with the people around you, or with the boy itself. I would rather stay friends with a nice boy who I genuinely like more than most , than opposed to dating him for a week and things being awkward between us for the rest of our teenage life.

I consider serious dating ranging from the 17 to 18 margin. But 13 to 16, it WILL NOT LAST!

Now .... My awkwardness with boys.....

So this guy that I'm friends with, posted a depressing love quote on facebook, so to poke some fun at him I commented on it saying, "Come on, Baily who's breaking your wittle hweart? :)"

And his response was, "It's you."

my reply was, " O_O "

DO YOU SEE HoW AWKWARD I AM! Another awkward moment with a guy was an Irish guy on Kik messanger, and I sent him a picture of my cat. And he his reply was something like, "Your cute." Being my awkward self I awkwardly laughed it off and said, "Yeah he is a cute cat." Then he was saying, "No I ment you're cute." Then I blocked the guy ......

So yeah let the awkwardness pour out one encounter at a time.

Yes the number one reason I reject guys is because I know with my lack of experience things will only end up badly, and our friendship will crumble. I'm sure when I'm 17 or 18 I'll take dating more serious but for now I'm 14 and I don't want relationship drama weighing me down. Yes, I will always have a crush and in the back of my mind I want him to like me back, but then there is other side of me that is my realalistic side . I would rather have him as a friend for years to come, than hold his hand for a week and a half before we awkwardly end it.... So that's my take on relationship's..... A little more on the serious side but I had someone ask me for this.... so Ta-Da!
