Chapter 5

Julia's POV

As I was sleeping I heard noises from downstairs.I turned on my phone and groaned quietly because of the brightness of the phone and I realised I just slept for 30 minutes only?!

And my phone showed 10:30 pm.

Then the noises became slightly louder.I decided to investigate and quickly and quietly went off my bed and took my phone and turn on the flashlight.

I felt nervous as I walked down the stairs.Then when I touched the cold white tiled floor of the living room,I heard a few people talking.

When I reached the kitchen,the sound of people talking got louder.As I heard their voices louder,my nerves in me got less and less.The voices I heard were familiar.

I then walked casually to the kitchen and found..mom and dad?

"Mom?Dad?What are you guys doing here?I thought you guys are suppose to be overseas because of your business?"I asked as I walked towards my mom and looked at the tray on the kitchen counter.I was confused.

"Ouh about that,the plane got delayed like two times and we decided to go tomorrow morning."She said as she spray cooking oil on the tray.

Dad was sleeping on the couch and I just smiled looking at my father sleeping."He must be tired"I thought

"What are you doing now?It's like 10:37 pm right now.You should sleep even though it's still early,you should rest like dad is right now."I sat on the kitchen counter and looked at every move that my mom makes and tried to figure out what is she doing.

"I decided to bake cookies for Mrs Jung because I haven't seen and talked to her in a while and I know that she and her son loves chocolate chip cookies"She said and took out a bowl of cookie dough that I made yesterday.

"Wait!I made that cookie dough yesterday and I was about to bake them today but I forgot.Anyways,don't bake all of them.I need to bake them tomorrow because I want to surprise Mina."I looked at her and took a small piece of cookie dough and ate it.

"Yah!That is not cooked.You might get sick,honey.Also,do you know Mrs Jung's son?"She slapped my arm a little and I just chucked but then shook my head at her question she asked.

"No,I never knew or seen Mrs Jung's Son,I thought she had a daughter?"I said and went down the kitchen counter.

"I think he attends the same school as you.I think his name is Jaehyun?"She said while scooping cookie dough onto the tray and I helped her put the tray in the oven.

"Jaehyun?Jung Jaehyun?As in my bully?Nahhh,he isn't the only Jung Jaehyun in school..right?"I thought while getting slightly nervous.

-25 minutes later-

"Well I got to go give these cookies to Mrs Jung,go sleep Julia.You have school tomorrow.Goodnight sweetie."Mom said and kissed my forehead."Goodnight"I then went upstairs to sleep.

Jaehyun's POV

I woke up then took my phone and I looked at the time and it showed,7:00 am.School starts at 8:00 am so scrolled down on my Social media.In about 5 minutes,I got up and went inside my bathroom.

After 20 minutes of showering and changing my clothes and all.I went downstairs to the kitchen.

"Morning mom and dad"I said then went straight to the fridge to drink some orange juice.

"Jae,you shouldn't drink orange juice while having an empty stomach.It is basically putting acid in your stomach."My mom scolded me but I was stubborn and kept on drinking.

"You are so stubborn.If you have a stomachache,i would laugh and say 'I told you so'"Mom said while cooking omelette.

"Wow,my mother is so sweet."I said sarcastically but it is true that it will hurt my stomach...but to late,it went in my stomach now.

Mom smiled then I went to sit in the dining table and found dad drinking some coffee and reading a newspaper.

"Morning appa,did you get enough sleep?"I asked while pulling a chair to sit down.

"Morning son,yes I did slept well."He answered simply and continues to drink his coffee.I just smiled.

I then thought of something.Then mom came in the dining room and came with some waffles for me and an omelette for dad.

"Thanks for the food mom."I ate my food happily.Before I could ask the question that I wanted to ask,mom spoke up.

"There are still leftover cookies from yesterday.I put them in a container so you can bring them to school."Mom said.

"Thanks again and I was about to ask you about the cookies but since you already told me,i don't have to ask."I smiled cheekily.

After breakfasts,I took my bag and my cookies then went out my house and my driver was in front of my driveway.

I was about to go in the car but I saw a girl wearing a mask and the same uniform as my school walking out one of the house,I mean mansion.

I mean I have a mansion but not as big and beautiful as her house.She walked pass my house and kept walking but then I saw something fell from her hands but she didn't notices it.

I jogged to her direction and picked the item up,it was a pair of white earphones with sliver glitter linings in it.

I walked towards her and tapped her shoulder.

"Umm excuse me,but you drop something"

Julia's POV

I went out my house but saw a guy wearing the exact same uniform as me but for boys.I didn't want to bother and just kept on walking until I was near his car.

He looks familiar..Then it hit me.

"Jung Jaehyun?He lives around here?!"I thought but I kept on walking and tried to look the other way so he wouldn't finds out that it's actually me.

Hopefully he doesn't see me because no one knows I live here and I can't let anyone see me as the daughter of a CEO.Especially my bully,Jung Jaehyun.Because he might tell the whole school about it.

I thought it was a success that he didn't notice until someone tapped my shoulder and said something but I didn't turn around.

"Umm excuse me,but you dropped something."
