Hi. My name is James and I belong to the Williams family. I am three years old and I will tell you a story from my first birthday. That day with my best friend and brother, Oliver, we were celebrating our first birthday. Oliver had the bright idea of us going to the creepiest house in the neighborhood without being noticed by anyone. Neither me nor Oliver were 100% house cats so we knew the place. That also meant we could leave the house without anybody searching for us. So we started and left the house. After a while we reached our destination. Oliver wanted to go in immediately but I was a little tired, so I asked him to wait for a moment. After some minutes chilling we decided it was time to go in there. The door didn't have a cat opening so we thought of going to the back yard to look for an open window. Luckily, there was an open window that was pretty high up, but no problem. We are cats. Cats jump very high. After going inside we started thinking that it wasn't a very good idea. Mostly me.
"Oliver I don't really like it here." I said to Oliver that clearly was hiding that he was scared too.
"Pff, don't be a chicken James. What could possibly happen?" he replied.
At that moment we both heard a weird noise, like a pan falling on the floor. We let out a very creeped out "MEOW!" and the hearts in our bodies started beating very fast.
I told Oliver that it was time to go, but he kept acting like nothing can scare him and he insisted on staying. I had to stay, as I didn't want to look like a chicken to my -for some seconds- older brother. After that we heard a pot (probably) falling, probably on a cat because we heard a much louder meow than ours. Both of us started running at that point.
The next day, a woman called our owner. She told her that her cat was making a mess in the kitchen the previous night, and she was dropping the pots, pans and stuff like that. That was the moment we understood that the lady was the owner of the house we went at last night. I whispered "fuck you oliver" roy brother and we agreed that we wouldn't go to open kitchens ever again!
