Cinderellas Got It Easy- Part 1

"Ava!!! get the door"

i opened the door.

"Hello Mr. Winston, She is in the next room." i smiled warmly at the man in

front of me. i stepped back ad held the door slightly more ajar so he could come

inside.

"Benjamin, in here!!"

He took off his cap and walked in to the den. i walked in behind him to take his

jacket. i took it and was told to go get snacks by Abigahl. Thats right, i

refused to call her my mother. She didn't have the right to be called my mother i

had told myself. I entered the room again with a plate of crackers and a tray of

drinks. The two were talking about some convention down the block. i set the

tray down on the coffee table and began to head for the door.

"Ava! Go fold the laundry and when you are done go to your room." Abigahl

said. Yap she didn't change even when we had guests over. i forced a smile and

nodded curtly. I went downstairs and began to fold the laundry. i put it in

stacks and delivered it to Abigahls room and then to Trevor's and finally i

opened the small door and went into my room and shut it firmly behind me. I

loved this room, it was in the basement and usually very cold in the winter but it

was the only place that i can be myself. i immediately walked over to a huge

cage that was pushed into the corner. i began searching the bottom floor of the

cage. no luck. i straightened and looked at the top floor. Ahh there he was. i

opened the little door and picked him out.

"Hi little man" i cooed.

Jack my pet bunny snuggled into the crook of my neck. i had, had him ever

since he was 3 months old, he was only 2 now but still a baby. his cage takes

up most of my room of how spoiled he is. He is the only one that i hold sacred to

me. i slipped him an apple i had stole out of the fridge and set him back in his

cage where he began happily devouring the apple. i went over to my bed and

stared out the window. my window was as big as one side of te room. i heard a

ding come from my phone. i jumped across the room excitedly and clutched the

small device. Jack gave me a creeped out look and i reached through the bars

and scratched his head to soothe him and he began eating again. i read the

notification. Apartment found. I quickly viewed the link. It was a suite on the

other side of town. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room. i nervously

looked down at the price sign and immediately punched the air with my fist. it

was in my price range. i took the number and texted it.

"Hi I'm wondering if your apartment is still up for part rent?"

i laid on my bed to excited. i was bouncing on the spot.

"YUP, are you interested?"

"Totally, but I'm pretty desperate so i'll take almost anything, when can i move

in?"

"Slow down tiger. you can move in anytime. The address is 7th Charles street.

See you soon"

"Thanks,"

i set my phone down and ran over to Jack and plucked him out and started

doing a happy dance with him. Jack was giving me a look.

"Ava!!!!" i heard from upstairs. i froze and set Jack back in his cage to run up

the stairs to Abigahl.

Yes my name was Ava.

Yes i was turning 18 in 4 days.

Yes i was moving in with some total stranger.

And yes i was a human Cinderella. Thats why i was moving out.
