I had decided to invite Marlene over, just 'cause why not. We were on the bed just laughing at the simplest things.

"So... Melissa what's new?" Marlene smiled, changing the previous subject quite smoothly.

"Not much just-" I was interrupted by a call.

"Hellur?" I answered.

"Yo! Melissa I heard ya were comin' to the party" Jenn spoke in a 'cool' voice.

"Huh? What party?" I asked confused.

"You know the pool party? O2L House? June 11th? Ring a bell?" Jenn changed her voice to normal.

"Uh... no?" I was confused.

"Andrea said she called you and you were really moody but you accepted" Jenn explained. What the hell? Why would I be in a mood when talking on the phone? I mean I'm only moody in the mornings. Wait. Morning. Andrea. Oh... makes sense now.

"Oh yeah, what about it?"

"Well... just making sure you're coming. You are coming right?" Jenn asked a bit anxious for my answer.

"Yes, I wouldn't miss it for the world. But... like I told Andrea I'm taking some friends" I warned.

"Ok, that's cool" Jenn said "well Jc and Connor are excited to see you!"

"Connor and Jc?" I questioned a bit confused... and shocked.

"Connor? What about Connor? Is he ok?!" Marlene panicked.

"Sh... I'm on the phone" I shut her up, that's right listen to momma.

"Yeah, after Connor said you were a must Jc wouldn't shut up about you" I can already see Jenn smirking.

"Jenn shut the fuck up!" I can hear Jc's voice in the background.

"Awww how sweet and tell Jc to ease up on the cussing" I giggled.

"Jc, Melissa said to shut your blabbering mouth!" Jenn yelled from a distance.

"Jenn what the hell?!" I panicked.

"I'm just kidding, she said she misses you and that you need to stop cussing!" Jenn yelled again.

"Was the missing really necessary?" I glared.

"Well, yeah... now that you and Sam are over, everyone's hoping for some Melissa and Jc action" Jenn explained.

"What the hell y'all talk about me?!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, all the time" she stated, nonchalantly.

"I hate you guys... like a lot" I rolled my eyes.

"Awww we love you too, girl" Jenn said in a sweet voice.

"Well I have friends over and it'd be rude of me to leave them alone for a long time" I sighed.

"Alright then, see you in a few days, girl" Jenn cheered.

"Yeah, yeah" I let out a deep breath.

"What's wrong?" Marlene asked, looking worried.

"Oh nothing, but anyways you girl wanna accompany me to an O2L pool party?" I asked.

"Girl you know I'm there, because I basically drive your ass everywhere" Marlene smiled." But do you have a car? Because, mine's kind of messed up."

"Yep BMW i8" I stated.

"WHAT THE- AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!" Marlene shouted, before Selena could even respond.

"I didn't see a point" I scoffed.

"That car is badass" Selena added.

"I've heard. My parents are quite wealthy and I got it for my seventeenth birthday" I simply answered.

"And you don't use it?!" Marlene looked at me with unbelievable wide-opened eyes.

"Nah"

"You ungrateful little tramp" Marlene glared.

"You can drive it, when we go to the pool party" I shrugged.

"I don't believe you" Marlene said, making me roll my eyes.

"Follow me" I went downstairs, across our land into the garage as I opened the garage door with my car in it.

"OH. MY. GOD." Marlene stated.

"So you going?" I asked.

"Yes" Marlene answered, "my parents love you they'll let me go with you wherever."

"Ok, well hopefully it's an awesome pool party."

"It's gonna be awesome, I just know it" Marlene added.
