You groan, hearing your phone go off. You struggle to open your eyes, reaching over to your bedside table for your phone. You turn on your phone and smile reading the message.

Wait a minute. Cedar?! Why in the world was he messaging you of all people!

CB: 'Hey I'm in your area! Wanna get some coffee? :D'

You ran your fingers through your hair, butterflies flying through your stomach. How to respond to this without sounding desperate? You couldn't just say "hell yeah i love you ohmigosh" could you? No.

Am I the only fan of his that has a crush on him? Gosh...I'd give anything just to be in his arms. His strong, protective arms.

You sighed and melted at the idea.

'Of course! I've always wanted to meet you :D' Hopefully that didn't sound to bad right? You were only chatting with him on Discord, and you felt as if you'd known him for years.

But it'd only been a few months or so.

CB: 'Okay, know any good places? :3'

You: 'I'll be a basic white gurl and say Starbucks!'

You smiled and got out of the bed. You walked to your vanity, sighing and trying to do something with your hair. It. Was. A. Wreck.

Once you got your hair parted correctly, you finished getting ready and wore your favorite outfit.

As you straightened out your shirt you heard your phone vibrate twice.

CB: 'GUuurlll!'

CB: 'Which Starbucks there's like three!'

You laughed and sent the directions to him, before facepalming.

You: 'Hey what time do you want to meet up there?'

CB: 'How about in 15 mins?'

You: Sounds good! I'll call an Uber :D See ya soon'

You took a deep breath, opening the door to the coffe shop. You looked around for the familiar male that you secretly fell in love with. Your eyes lit up once you saw him wave you over with a huge smile on his face.

'Oh my gosh this is it, that's him! Hollllyyy shit! He's right there... Oh my gosh... Okay Y/n, keep it cool. Don't say anything stupid.'

"Yooo Cedar, it's ya boy skinny penis!" You memed, laughing and walking over to the small table he was sitting at. 'Great going genius.' You rolled your eyes at yourself and sat down, smiling at your idol.

"So Y/n, how's it going?"

Your face flushed red at his voice, even though you had heard it a million times before, "Pretty well! I'm sitting at a table with the most adorable person ever!" You teased him, knowing he hated being called adorable.

Cedar's face scrunched up, "I'm not adorableeee!" He whined, "You're the adorable one!" He said with a tint of sass, making you laugh.

"So what brought you here to (*insert your area here*)? I thought you were busy at Vidcon."

"Well, I got a bit side-tracked and decided, hey why not?" He shrugged and took a sip of his warm black coffee. His favorite. "I ordered you a hot cocoa since I know you like it." Your smile grew once you finally noticed the cup.

"Oh, Cedar you didn't have to! How much was it, I'll pay you back!"

"No no I insist.. You're a great friend and honestly really like you. Between you and me this is a date..." He winked and took another sip from his coffee.

Your face flushed a darker red, picking up the cup and carefully drinking it. It was fairly hot and you were trying not to burn the roof of your mouth.

"So I was wondering i-" Cedar had been rudely interrupted when a large group of what seemed to be highschool students came in the Starbucks, being loud and obnoxious.

You put your hands over your ears, flinching at the loudness as the memories came flooding back to you...

Cedar noticed this and placed his hand on your shoulder, mouthing the words "Follow me". You nodded and stood up. He grabbed his coffee and your hot cocoa, quickly exiting the small and now cramped coffee shop.

"You alright?" He whispered, pulling you into a hug. Well close to a hug since he still had both cups in his hands.

"Yeah just... Loud noises trigger some things.." He nodded, understanding you completely.

"I get it... Here take this." He held out your cup which you gratefully took another sip from, "How about we go to this park across the street? There's a lake I saw and it'd be peaceful over there, okay?" He offered you his hand which you took smiling like a goofball. He walked you over to the large park, finding a bench, next to the lake, in the shade.

Once you both sat down and you had calmed down Cedar broke the silence.

"As I was saying in Starbucks... I was wondering if..." He trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck. He took a large drink of his coffee, as if trying to regain himself or something of the matter.

"You were wondering..?" You encouraged him to keep going. He knew you'd listen.

"Well, as I said in Starbucks, I've actually really liked you. You're really cute and adorable and you just make my day when I'm down."

The dark blush returned to your cheeks, thinking of the possible question he would ask you.

"Y/n I was wondering if..."

You held your breath.

"Do you know da wae?"
