Beta reader

Hi!

If you need a beta reader for your work I might be able to help you. Please have a look at the rules below and see if you think I'd be a good fit for you!

1. I beta read single chapters or complete manuscripts, depending on my workload at any given time. I retain the right to refuse inquiries.

2. I will look at pacing, plot, consistency and character development. I do not run any grammar check, but I can comment on obvious grammar/spelling mistakes if you wish.

3. I use Microsoft Word or Google Docs. Please use Times or Arial font, 12 pt. For general comments on your work (no in-line feedback, only summary feedback) I can accept other formats such as pdf, and for general comments on shorter stories/chapters I can use Wattpad.

4. Any communication between me and you will be strictly private, mainly via email. Nothing will be published anywhere from my side.

5. I accept the following genres: romance (historical, contemporary), YA, general fiction, chick lit, and the likes.

I accept graphic sex scenes and most triggers except child/animal pornography and child/animal abuse.

I DO NOT accept the following genres (because I don't feel I can give a fair critique of these genres): fanfiction, supernatural/paranormal, werewolf/vampire, sci-fi, fantasy, horror or spiritual. Neither poetry is a good match.

6. I am honest and I will not sugar coat, but I will not be rude. Instead, I'll seek to give constructive feedback. I do this to help you, I don't use my precious time to find ways to judge you.
